This role is in office Monday to Friday.

The Role

The Blue Owl Global Client Marketing team is seeking a creative, collaborative and detail-oriented Senior Associate to contribute to the development and execution of Blue Owl’s content strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who has experience partnering with media, product marketing, distribution and investments leaders to develop compelling narratives and differentiated content tailored to different investor types.

Responsibilities

  • Develop multi‑format content, including written pieces, infographics, scripts and social posts that position Blue Owl as a trusted thought leader.

  • Support Blue Owl’s expanding defined contribution initiatives by creating engaging, differentiated materials for web, conferences and sales meetings.

  • Create and maintain Continuing Education‑credit eligible content hosted on Blue Owl’s award‑winning platform, The Nest.

  • Help manage content and webcast calendars, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with product launches, market events and business priorities as well as a steady cadence of high‑quality materials for use across email campaigns, conference leave‑behinds, LinkedIn, and other distribution channels.

  • Facilitate content development with cross‑functional partners, including freelance writers, portfolio strategists, investment teams, and other business leaders, using a flexible and solutions‑oriented partnership style.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing leads to develop derivative materials from long‑form written or video content, ensuring content is optimized for multiple audiences and formats.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial services; alternative investment marketing experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred

  • Ability to simplify and clearly communicate complex investment concepts

  • Solid understanding of financial markets with the ability to distill data and concepts into engaging visuals

  • Self‑starter with the drive to take ownership and execute across multiple initiatives

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and collaborate in a fast‑paced environment

  • Effective stakeholder manager with the ability to remain strategically focused

  • High attention to detail and a results‑driven commitment to excellence

The base annual salary range for this New York-based position will be $120,000 to $140,000. Actual salary offered will be based on the candidate’s skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
