About Blank Street

Blank Street is on a mission to become the defining food & beverage brand of our generation. At 100+ locations, we’ve built one of the fastest-growing consumer brands in the US and UK, and are quickly becoming the go-to spot for the next generation of coffee and matcha drinkers. With a large global roadmap ahead, we’re shaping the future through elevated beverages, thoughtful store designs, and hospitality-driven experiences.

About the Role

As our Global Head of Central Operations, you’ll build and run the operating engine of Blank Street. As we scale across markets, your job is to design the standards, tools, and ways of working that will let us grow without ever compromising on the quality of the experience.

This is one of the most influential roles in the company. You'll sit at the center of the business, reporting to the Founders and working closely with senior leaders, with real ownership over how Blank Street operates day to day across all markets.

This role has a clear path to becoming our future VP of Central Operations and ultimately COO as the business grows.

What You’ll Own:
  1. Build the Blank Street Operating Playbook
    • Design, build, and document the "Golden Standard" for Blank Street operations across all markets
    • Set the format, depth, and tooling standards for all SOPs, and partner with teams to create and evolve them
    • Build and manage a single source of truth library of all our latest SOPs, and make it intuitive to navigate
  2. Orchestrate How Change Lands in the Field
    • Own the end-to-end planning and rollout of new initiatives across all markets
    • Partner with People and Creative to translate standards into clear, on-brand training and development
    • Build repeatable launch playbooks for seasonal drops and major initiatives
    • Own and redesign our communications - both the cadence and channels through which we reach the field
  3. Design the systems architecture of our operation
    • Map systems and processes across all markets to identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities to operate smarter and converge to a single global architecture
    • Design & build a best-in-class operations tech stack, ensuring we operate at the cutting edge of AI, automation, and systems designed to drive simplicity & leverage across our operation
  4. Design our People Operating Model
    • Partner with the Founders and People leadership to design the company’s core people frameworks: career paths, role levels, performance and progression
    • Shape the structure of the organization across HQ and the field - roles, layers, spans and ways of working
Who You Are:
  • You’ve helped scale a complex, fast-growing business (tech, consumer, marketplaces, or multi-site operations).
  • 2+ years in a top-tier consulting role (MBB preferred)
  • 4+ years in a hands-ons operations role at:
    • high-growth startups or scale-ups
    • or hospitality, retail, F&B
  • Fluent with productivity and operations software (Notion, Asana, Slack, AI tools) and excited to use technology to work smarter
Benefits:
  • $170,000 - $240,000 annual salary
    • Blank Street, in good faith, believes that the posted salary range is accurate for this role in New York City at the time of posting. Our salary ranges are rooted in the desire to pay competitively relative to our organization size and industry, reflecting just one part of the total compensation package.
