Own US accounting workflows, including month-end close, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, vendor payments, tax and audit support, and accounting policy and process improvements. The role also performs ad hoc financial analysis and partners with Finance, Operations, People, auditors, vendors, and international entities. This is an in-person position based in Brooklyn, New York.

Own end-to-end U.S. payroll and support U.K. payroll across multiple cycles and jurisdictions. Manage benefits, pension, and 401(k) administration; reconcile payroll to the general ledger; support audits, filings, statutory payments, employee queries, and payroll research. Maintain controls, policies, and compliance processes while partnering with Finance, People, Operations, and external payroll providers. Improve payroll systems and processes to reduce risk and support global growth.

Owns global indirect tax across US and UK operations, including sales and use tax, VAT, filings, remittances, reconciliations, nexus, registrations, audits, and process optimization. Supports transfer pricing and direct tax compliance, manages external advisors, prepares tax studies, and oversees the global tax calendar. Builds tax systems, policies, controls, and documentation while supporting new market entries and transitioning core filings in-house.

Lead corporate IT strategy and build a greenfield IT operating model across US and UK. Own identity and access, endpoint/MMD standards, SaaS consolidation, vendor management, security posture, incident readiness, AI governance, training, and alignment with field IT for multi-site retail operations.

Support and deliver new-hire and ongoing training across multiple markets, assess and report on product quality, track training compliance, lead orientations and certifications, assist with product launches, and foster a learning culture while traveling frequently to regional stores.

Partner with Operations and store leaders across NYC markets to hire, onboard, coach, and develop frontline teams. Lead employee relations and investigations, drive performance management and engagement programs, support promotions and succession, ensure compliance and documentation, and use people data to identify risks and operational improvements.

Manage and develop a district of General Managers and their teams to deliver consistent hospitality, operational excellence, safety, and financial performance across multiple cafe locations. Recruit, coach, staff, execute launches, use data to drive improvement, and represent the brand in local communities.

The Senior Product Designer will lead the design of consumer and internal applications, ensuring user-centered designs through research, collaboration, and strategic design decisions.
