About Blank Street:

At Blank Street, we’re on a mission to become the defining food and beverage brand of our generation. From the very beginning, we’ve set out to add a spark to ordinary experiences through elevated products, attention-to-detail, and a commitment to making every moment memorable. We’re motivated by the millions of customers we serve across cities, and know that our potential is unlimited. It all starts with our people and their commitment to make magic happen each and every day.

Add A Spark to the Ordinary…

Blank Street is seeking a Head of Global Expansion to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. This role will develop frameworks and conduct deep market research to evaluate demand, economics, operational complexity, and long-term potential across new markets. Make confident decisions on new market entry and operating structure, including JV, Franchise, and O&O models. Set direction, consolidate cross-functional inputs, and determine recommendations presented to the founders. Own market entry end-to-end, partnering across legal, finance, supply chain, real estate, recruiting, and marketing. Act as the marketing director for new markets and support the US and UK Presidents on P&L and day-to-day market performance.

What You'll Own
  • Market Research & Prioritization - You are responsible for building conviction around where Blank Street should expand next. This includes developing frameworks and conducting deep market research to evaluate demand, economics, operational complexity, and long-term potential. Your work should enable us to make confident decisions about new market entry and operating structure (JV, Franchise, O&O).
  • Market Launch & Execution - You own the market entry end to end. This includes legal, finance, supply chain, real estate, recruiting, and marketing, but goes beyond just coordination. You are the single point of accountability for how Blank Street shows up in a new market. You are expected to think and operate like a founder. That means holding an exceptionally high bar and ensuring each market represents the highest expression of the Blank Street brand and customer experience. All HQ support functions partner with you during market entry. You set direction, consolidate inputs, and decide what gets presented to founders. For example, this includes things like site selection, vendor selection, talent/early leadership structure. Finally, you serve as the on-the-ground launch quarterback, resolving issues in real time and ensuring a successful opening.
  • Market Ownership & P&L Accountability - New markets will typically launch without a dedicated Managing Director. During this phase, you will support the US/UK Presidents in P&L and day-to-day performance of these markets, effectively acting as the MD. This includes recruiting roles for the market, supporting store operations, improving the product experience & customer experience, and guiding overall financial performance. Once a market reaches sufficient scale and maturity, you will lead the recruitment and onboarding of a Managing Director and ensure a clean handoff.
