Mondelez International has made significant progress in terms of Trade Promotion Management (TPM) tools deployment, upgrades, and usage in recent years, enabling control and visibility of sales and promotion planning across 35+ markets, and enabling markets to gather valuable data while driving promo insights. The TPM Solutions Director will be responsible for accelerating this progress, leading the building of the TPM strategy, driving future development and implementation of products to deliver revenue growth and profitability in a sustainable and structured way. This role demands a deep understanding of TPM products, Sales and Finance processes around promotional management and good levels of understanding across all Revenue Growth Management (RGM) levers. The ideal candidate will be adept in product team leadership, stakeholder management and developing and leading strategic initiatives.
How you will contribute

  • Lead high performance and diverse TPM central product teams, providing direction, strategic guidelines, support, and expertise during the continued expansion of strategic TPM systems to new markets. The TPM Solutions Director will own the overall TPM Product Deployment & Evolution Roadmap to continue accelerating and maturing the approach, encompassing the identification of opportunities across all market archetypes and channels to expand the TPM footprint in consultation with senior MDS and Business stakeholders and Regional Engagement Teams.
  • Coordinate and drive the prioritization process required to future-proof the product templates and to support delivery of Mondelez's 2030 Vision. Actively partnering with Business Units and Regional Business teams. Underpinning this will be the evolution of the detailed TPM Product Innovation and Enhancement Roadmap, built in conjunction with Technical Product Owners, extended contractors' workforce, and Vendors.
  • TPM is seen increasingly within the organisation as a source of foundational data able to be utilised for analytics and as a key link in a closed-loop sales process. This role will collaborate with TPx Lead, Data & Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, and other partners to ensure TPM delivers and is a suitable platform for the capabilities required for advanced promotion and RGM analytics including leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. In addition, this role will partner across the MDS Experience (DX) team to identify opportunities for collaboration and integration between sales and marketing technologies and TPM.
  • The Sales Technology team is in the process of moving to a consistent delivery process across products, leveraging DevOps. This role will partner with the Sales Technology Delivery team to utilise Agile methodologies to ensure quality TPM Market Deployment and Continuous Improvement delivery including the adoption of required processes and tools.
  • Consistently monitoring and assessing if our TPM products are being adopted as expected and are delivering the expected benefit is critical in evaluating the success of the program to date and gathering learnings for future investment. I mplement and track performance based KPIs/SLAs to track product benefits usage, performance, and market perception/adoption and p artner with Regional Engagement teams and Business Stakeholders on TPM Product adoption - creating programs to better utilise existing and new TPM capabilities.
  • Lead the communication of TPM Product topics across the organisation. Increase awareness of existing and future capabilities and create forums for two-way dialogue and engagement with internal stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of learning and innovation. Lead by example, understanding industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to TPM and RGM.


What you will bring

  • 15+ years of experience around Technology or Sales functions.
  • 10+ years of experience around TPM and RGM.
  • 10+ years of experience leading project and/or product teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of TPM solutions and processes around Promotion Planning & Customer Planning across.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of how TPM solutions can be utilised in different market archetypes and channels.
  • Very strong business acumen and understanding of business goals, market dynamics and industry trends to align the promotion strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Qualifications in Technology, Finance or Business
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Sales and commercial finance knowledge and relationship management experience in the CPG industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies & delivery.
  • Senior Stakeholder & relationship management experience both on IT and Business side, team organization, engagement & performance management.
  • Experience in a regional or global role in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness and demonstrated experience to stay updated on new methodologies, technologies, and industry best practices around RGM and promotion management fields.
  • Ability to develop, maintain and grow the network of business relationships both functionally and cross- functionally, among own team, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding and experience of utilising TPM in RGM Analytics including Post Event Analytics, Base & Uplift Modelling and Trade Promotions Optimisation
  • Desirable experience in other RGM analytics technologies and pillars including Pricing, Mix, Assortment and Trade Terms.
