Job descriptionThe Government Contracting Finance Specialist will play a key role in supporting the financial requirements of Exodigo’s growing government and B2G business, working closely with the Pursuits and Sales teams to support competitive government procurements and respond to finance-related requests throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with government contracting finance and can translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into accurate, compliant, and timely deliverables while partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and Pursuits.
Responsibilities
- Support federal, state, local, and DOT contract finance requirements
- Maintain project/job accounting and labor charging structure
- Support FAR Part 31 and AASHTO indirect-rate compliance
- Prepare pricing, labor rates, indirect rates, and proposal schedules
- Review contract financial requirements, billing, and profitability
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and Pursuits
- Prior experience supporting an organization with a significant government/B2G revenue base required, with direct exposure to the financial requirements of competitive government procurements.
- 7+ years in government-contracting finance or project accounting
- Experience with FAR, AASHTO, state DOTs, or government contractors
- Strong Excel and financial-analysis skills
- Practical, hands-on, and comfortable in a growing company
Salary: $160,000 - $200,000
Location: Remote with a strong preference to sit on the East Coast
