Position Overview:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating all visual assets used in Wicked Games slot productions. This includes concept development, illustration, UI/UX components, symbols, backgrounds, characters, and other graphical elements. The role requires a strong understanding of the slot game art pipeline, the ability to work across multiple visual styles, and the capability to deliver aesthetically appealing, readable, and performance-optimized assets for both mobile and desktop platforms.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in slot development or mobile gaming, understands stylistic trends within the iGaming industry, and collaborates effectively with Game Designers, Product Owners, Mathematicians, Animators, and Developers to bring game concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop visual concepts, style directions, and creative explorations for new slot titles.
  • Create moodboards, sketches, and concept art for symbols, backgrounds, characters, and thematic elements.
  • Ensure stylistic coherence and visual consistency across all game assets.
  • Produce high-quality 2D assets (Symbols (low, mid, high, special), UI elements, Game logos, Paytable graphics)
  • Design polished backgrounds, thematic environments, frames, decorations, and other game-specific elements.
  • Prepare layered artwork optimized for animation and smooth integration into the engine.
  • Translate product requirements and game design documentation into clear visual solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Game Producer, Product Manager, Mathematicians, and Animators to ensure alignment on vision, usability, and feature implementation.
  • Participate in creative discussions, propose improvements, and ensure visual clarity for players.
  • Prepare assets for animation in Spine or DragonBones.
  • Work with the animation team to ensure visual consistency and correct asset structure.
  • Work with UX designers or independently design UI layouts for slot interfaces.
  • Ensure readability, usability, and adaptability across devices, languages, and screen formats.
  • Create key visuals for game releases: storefront banners, icons, thumbnails, promotional illustrations.
  • Support the marketing team with additional creatives when required.
  • Prepare final assets in the correct technical formats for developers and animators.
  • Maintain structured documentation and follow internal production pipelines, templates, and naming conventions.
  • Ensure asset optimization with minimal loss of quality, maintaining performance standards across all platforms.
  • Strong sense of visual composition, color theory, lighting, and readability.
  • Ability to work in multiple art styles, including: Fantasy, Cartoon, Casual, Realistic, Neon, Cyberpunk, Mythology, Futuristic, Dark/Light stylizations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer or 2D Artist in slot development or mobile game production.
  • A portfolio showcasing strong illustration, concept art, and game-ready assets.
