Job Summary
We're looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Social and Design Associate to join our growing communications team. In this role, you'll help bring Optimum's story to life visually across every channel - from corporate announcements and internal communications to customer campaigns and social media.
You'll work closely with our integrated communications team (corporate communications, customer communications, and social media) to design content that is visually compelling, on-brand, and strategically aligned. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong design eye, and enjoys turning complex ideas into simple, impactful visuals. You'll translate enterprise and business priorities into compelling, real ‑ time social storytelling while serving as the primary graphic design resource for enterprise needs.
Responsibilities
Primary Ownership Areas:
  • Social‑First Content Creation & Publishing
    Create and publish social‑first content that brings enterprise and brand storytelling to life across platforms.
  • Enterprise & Social Design
    Serve as the primary graphic designer for enterprise communications and social media - delivering fast, on‑brand creative across formats.
  • Campaign & Creative Translation
    Translate campaigns, creative ideas, and launches into strong, platform‑native social executions.
  • Real‑Time & Reactive Content
    Lead trend‑based and reactive content, moving quickly from concept to post while protecting brand and reputation.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand design, digital graphics, and visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and design tools like Figma or Canva.
  • Motion graphics, video editing, or illustration skills a plus.
  • Excellent creative judgment with a strong eye for typography, layout, and brand consistency.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, positive, can-do mindset - eager to dive in, bring new ideas, and make things happen.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a bias toward action and quick responses.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $64,260.00 - $105,570.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
