About the Team

GTM Data & Operations powers Manifest's go-to-market motion across marketing and sales. The team owns the software, automations, and measurement the GTM org runs on, built on a central data platform owned by a separate team. Small team, company-wide impact: every growth decision runs through this work.

About the Role

You'll build and own the software behind marketing and sales: customer-facing web experiences, internal apps and automations, and AI agents that drive conversion. You'll own these systems end to end and enable the team to test and iterate quickly.

You'll also own marketing's measurement: the reporting, attribution, and journey work that tells the team what's actually driving conversion. You'll build on a centralized data platform, partner closely with RevOps, and treat marketing and sales as your customers. It's an early, high-ownership engineering seat, in person in NYC, with room to shape how go-to-market runs as the company scales.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and own the customer-facing web experiences that drive top-of-funnel conversion. Make them fast to A/B test and personalize, and build the funnel reporting behind them

  • Build the internal apps, automations, and AI agents that run go-to-market, e.g. a partner hub where each partner logs into their stats and content, or automating manual reporting and lead-routing

  • Own marketing analytics and measurement: reporting, attribution, and the full journey, so the team sees what's working and iterates

  • Own web and product analytics: reconcile Amplitude with GA4, stand up AEO reporting, and stitch the full visit-to-signed-case journey

  • Build toward conversational BI: curated datasets and AI-readable docs so anyone can ask a data question and trust the answer (a v1 agent already exists)

  • Build on the central data platform (owned by a separate team) and partner closely with RevOps

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years as a software engineer, strong in TypeScript, React, and Next.js (our stack, deployed on Vercel); you ship production-quality frontend and hold your own on backend, data (Python/SQL), and AI tooling

  • AI-native by default: builds with LLMs and agents; bonus for shipped data or AI products

  • Strong on data too: SQL and BI, can own measurement and turn a business question into a trusted answer

  • GTM/marketing data a plus: CRM, paid media, web and product analytics, attribution

  • Bias to build, scrappy, thrives in ambiguity with high ownership

  • New York City, in-office 5 days/week

This is for you if....

You're an engineer who wants your code to directly move the business, not sit a layer removed from it. You love shipping, owning mission-critical systems, and turning manual chaos into clean automation. You want to build at the tip of the spear of how AI is reshaping professional services, in person, with a great team.

This is not for you if....
  • You want to only analyze, not build, this role is both

  • You need a mature platform and clean data handed to you

  • You're looking for remote or hybrid; we build in person in NYC
