About Warp

Warp is the AI-native employee management platform that runs itself. Payroll, multi-state compliance, benefits, and IT vanish so teams never have to think about them. Trusted by 1,000+ companies.
We believe the next great companies won't add features. They'll remove work. Our AI agents navigate thousands of government portals, open state tax accounts, resolve compliance notices, and file forms upstream, before any of it ever surfaces. Companies scale from 5 to 500+ employees without adding HR headcount.
Most platforms track operations. We handle them entirely. Warp uses obsessive engineering and a philosophy of subtraction to solve complexity that others won't touch. The goal is simple: it works in the background while you build your company.
As one founder put it: "Using Warp feels like the first time I used Linear or Superhuman. The realization that payroll can just work."
Backed by $25M from Sound Ventures, Y Combinator, and the founders of Dropbox, Replit, OpenAI and Cruise. Team of ~34 from Stripe, Brex, Ramp, Google, Apple, Palantir, and MIT.

About the Role

Warp is an engineering-driven company building the future of automated back-office operations. We're looking for a growth engineer who's excited to join our early story and help us dominate the market.

As a Growth Engineer at Warp, you'll sit at the critical intersection of engineering, data, and growth strategy. You'll ship high-impact metrics-driven technical projects that directly accelerate our mission to eliminate HR operations overhead for startups forever. Working cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and growth teams, you'll build the data infrastructure, automation tools, and analytical capabilities that power our rapid expansion.

This role offers the rare opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while seeing immediate business impact. You'll architect the revenue ops systems that streamline our sales processes, build growth tooling that accelerates customer acquisition, and create the technical infrastructure that empowers our sales and marketing teams with better data, automation, and insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth Experimentation and Optimization: Create and iterate on product and marketing technical projects to help Warp grow 10x

  • Data Analysis and Product Knowledge: Analyze growth metrics to inform sales, marketing, and product teams

  • Platform Engineering: Build robust platform features, integrations, and dashboards combining existing Warp products and third-party data

  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with sales, growth, product and engineering to identify, specify, document, and build

  • Rev Ops: build and ship internal tools related to billing and revenue recognition

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of software engineering experience

  • Startup experience as a founder, early engineer, or growth roles

  • An understanding of B2B Marketing and Sales metrics and processes

  • Strong expertise in programming

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High agency and the ability to figure things out

Compensation

On Target Earnings (OTE): $125,100–$202,000 plus equity based qualifications of candidate.
