The Growth Marketing Specialist will execute paid, owned, email, SMS, content, digital, community, sponsorship, and partnership marketing programs for dental offices. The hybrid role is based in Great Neck, New York, with onsite work Mondays and Tuesdays.
The Smilist is hiring for a Growth Marketing Specialist to join our growing team! The primary role of the Growth Marketing Specialist is to fulfill various marketing and promotion programs for the Smilist Dental offices. This position requires an extremely organized person who is self-motivated and able to make informed marketing decisions. The responsibilities listed below are representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing Director and media agency to drive paid and owned media performance, turning impressions into booked appointments and real office growth
- Own the day-to-day digital presence for the brand, keeping every channel fresh, on-brand, and working hard to bring in new patients
- Lead content production from concept to deployment, partnering with our graphic designers to bring every post, page, and campaign to life, with a keen focus on new patient growth and appointment bookings
- Build and run email and SMS campaigns designed to fill chairs and boost office productivity
- Leverage AI across content, campaigns, and reporting to move faster and smarter than the competition
- Dream up and execute community events, sponsorships, and local partnerships — then coach office managers on turning that local energy into booked appointments
- Build relationships with local businesses through promotions and partnerships that open new doors for patient growth
- Proof and polish every piece of marketing — print, digital, signage, mailers — so it's unmistakably Smilist, and champion the Smilist Way in everything the offices put out into the world
- Perform other duties assigned by leadership
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- One to two years experience in a marketing function; experience in healthcare or dental
- environment a plus
- Hands-on experience with marketing platforms and tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, WordPress, Figma, Canva or comparable platforms
- Experience building and executing email and SMS marketing campaigns
- Working knowledge of AI and LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) applied to marketing efficiency and content production
- Experience in business productivity software such as Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Docs and Sheets
- Familiarity with patient acquisition, retention, and conversion strategies
- Experience coordinating with external vendors or agency partners
- Passion for improving healthcare

- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communications preferred
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full Time (Hybrid) - Monday through Friday (9am-5pm)
- Compensation: $60,000-$70,000/year
- Location: Great Neck, NY - on site Mondays and Tuesdays
