Sapien is rethinking how finance teams operate in the age of AI. We’re building toward an autonomous CFO—systems that run company financials end-to-end. Our platform analyzes complex financial data in real time to increase decision cadence, prevent costly mistakes, and surface value. We partner with traditional businesses—manufacturing, healthcare, restaurants, and large enterprises—to deeply understand and automate their financial workflows. We’re HQ’d by Madison Square Park in NYC and backed by General Catalyst, Neo, and top operators from Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Ramp, and Stripe (over $9M raised).

You’ll be one of our first operations hires—a generalist operator with a finance toolkit who flexes between strategy and execution. You’ll work directly with the founders and leaders across GTM, Customer, and Product. This isn’t a back-office role; you’ll be in the mix with customers, internal stakeholders, and our product/engineering teams.

We craft scope based on each hire’s strengths and interests.

• Enable our GTM motion. Design and run lightweight, high-signal processes; manage inbound and qualify leads; run targeted outbound to CFOs and controllers; maintain pipeline hygiene; create sales assets that tell the right story.

• Drive customer deployments & success. Facilitate early customer conversations, coordinate pilots, and ensure smooth deployments that demonstrate ROI.

• Own cross-functional ops. Stand up and streamline core workflows so information flows and nothing falls through the cracks.

• Instrument the business. Define, track, and report KPIs; build dashboards covering company performance, deployments, and operational health.

• Support strategic initiatives & comms. Partner with leadership on internal presentations, investor updates, customer-facing materials, and special projects.

• Be the product feedback loop. Translate finance workflows into actionable product requirements, pressure-test features, and advocate for CFO/finance team needs.
  

• 2–4 years in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or similarly analytical/finance-heavy roles.

• Strong grounding in financial statements, corporate finance, and operating metrics; excellent analytical/quant skills.

• Customer-facing presence—comfortable with CFOs, controllers, and finance teams.

• Project/process ownership from end to end with high attention to detail.

• Clear, crisp communication—you can craft compelling decks and narratives for internal, investor, and customer audiences.

• AI-native. You’re energized by applying AI to transform how businesses run.
