Job Title: Head of Capital Markets
Company: USD.AI
Location: New York City, in-office
Employment Type: Full-time

About USD.AI
USD.AI provides AI infrastructure operators with strategic, non-dilutive financing facilities essential for their scale requirements. The protocol delivers non-recourse loans secured by GPU infrastructure and asset level cashflows, offering capital providers exposure to liquid, transparent and tradable credit products secured by income-producing compute assets.
Depositors are attracted to USD.AI’s stable, risk-adjusted yields of ~7–10%, backed by collateralized AI infrastructure loans. This is not a yield farm. It is a structured credit product with real borrowers, real assets, and institutional-grade underwriting.

The Team
Our team draws experience from Coreweave, DRW, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Circle, and other leading tech and financial institutions. We are Series A-funded by Coinbase Ventures, PayPal, Framework, Dragonfly, and others. We’ve built financial products facilitating hundreds of millions in transaction volume across diverse asset types. We have no middle managers and move quickly from idea to execution. We value integrity, high-agency and the ability to operate in ambiguity above all else.

The Role
The Head of Capital Markets role is a capital origination role responsible for building and owning USD.AI's global depositor base. You will identify, approach, and close relationships with individuals, family offices, crypto funds, and institutional allocators who are looking for yield-bearing exposure to AI infrastructure as an asset class.
This is a Senior-level BD role for someone who already has a relevant warm network and knows how to navigate crypto-native capital. You understand what a sophisticated investor cares about. You can walk a fund manager through a collateralized lending structure and a yield curve in the same breath. Your job is to get it in front of the right people, build durable relationships, and secure >$5M tickets.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full capital origination pipeline — from prospecting to close to ongoing relationship management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with crypto-native or capital-flexible flexible funds, family offices, HNWIs, and institutional allocators with deposit capacity of $5M+.
  • Represent USD.AI at regional conferences, summits, and community events globally.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the USD.AI protocol, yield mechanics, and collateral framework to speak credibly with sophisticated counterparties.
  • Work closely with the founding team to develop region-specific positioning and collateral for outreach.
  • Maintain a clean, current pipeline in our CRM with accurate deal stages, contact notes, and forecasted deposit volumes.
  • Feed market intelligence back to the team — what objections are you hearing, what structures are prospects asking for, what's moving capital in the region right now.
  • Coordinate with compliance and onboarding to ensure smooth KYC/AML processes for new depositors.

Requirements
  • 3–6 years of experience in crypto BD, institutional sales, private credit distribution, or a related capital markets role
  • Existing diverse network of crypto-native and institutional capital allocators — you can book meetings on day one.
  • Fluency in both DeFi and TradFi mental models: you can explain APY, collateral ratios, and credit risk in the same conversation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bonus for fluency in Mandarin.
  • Demonstrable history of crypto yield farming and active participation in related communities (private groups, meetups, etc.)
  • Proven track record of closing large-ticket deals ($1M+) with sophisticated counterparties.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating with minimal process in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience at a crypto fund, digital asset prime broker, or DeFi protocol in a capital-facing role.
  • Familiarity with structured credit products, private credit, or alternative yield strategies.
  • Background in AI infrastructure, GPU compute, or adjacent technology sectors.

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary
  • Long-term token incentive package.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Health & wellness reimbursements.
