Head of Content

Bevado is hiring a Head of Content with a strong focus on video content creation.

Location: New York City, NY (onsite, five days a week).

This is a full-time, onsite role in New York City for someone who can turn software, product ideas and customer problems into videos people want to watch. You'll report directly to our Head of Growth and work closely with our founders to plan content, make it, publish it and improve it.

We care more about aptitude, creative judgment and the quality of your work than years on a resume. We’re looking for someone with 2–5 years of relevant experience.

What you'll do
  • Own video production from idea to finished asset, including research, concepts, hooks, scripts, filming, editing, captions and publishing.

  • Create short-form videos and ad creative for Meta and Instagram, plus short-form and long-form YouTube content.

  • Help build our founders' presence on LinkedIn through video and written content that sounds like them and gives their audience something useful.

  • Make product demos, launch videos and software explainers that communicate clear value to both SMB and enterprise buyers.

  • Plan the content calendar with our Head of Growth, test original formats and improve creative using audience feedback and performance data.

  • Contribute to product marketing and special projects, including landing page copy and design, lifecycle campaigns and broader brand initiatives. Use AI tools to speed up research, production and iteration.

What we're looking for
  • A strong video portfolio. You can make polished, engaging content and explain the creative choices behind it.

  • You find yourself making videos, editing and experimenting with content in your own time. Personal accounts, side projects, internships and work for other companies all count.

  • Good instincts for hooks, storytelling, pacing, sound, captions and visual presentation. You know how to make a video clear and hold someone's attention.

  • The ability to take an idea and turn it into a finished video with ownership, initiative and consistent execution.

  • Clear written and spoken English, curiosity about software and AI, and an interest in understanding the product and the people who use it.

  • Comfort working closely with a small team, taking feedback and trying new approaches.

A strong bonus

You've helped build an audience through content you produced for a personal brand, another company, an internship or a side project. Show us examples of work that earned attention, engagement or audience growth, and explain what you personally created. There is no minimum follower count.

Show us your work

Send [email protected] an email with any work that shows your content creation skills, whether that's a video, a social media profile, a portfolio link, or results from content you've created.

Include your strongest examples and a short explanation of what you personally handled, such as the concept, script, filming or editing.

Benefits

Annual base salary: $75,000–$130,000 USD.

  • Free lunches five days a week

  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO)

  • Equity

  • Health insurance
