Description

We are looking for an exceptional Head of GTM Recruiting & US People to lead our US talent acquisition efforts and serve as a key people partner to our US leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, business-oriented recruiting leader who thrives in fast-paced, digital-native technology companies and is passionate about building high-performing teams and strong organizational cultures.

Approximately 70% of this role will focus on hands-on GTM recruiting, while 30% will focus on HR business partnership, leadership support, and driving our US culture.

You will own the US recruitment strategy and execution, manage and develop a US-based recruiter, and partner closely with executives and mid-level managers to support organizational growth, employee engagement, and team effectiveness.

We are looking for someone who combines the execution capabilities of a top-tier recruiter with the business judgment, maturity, and people instincts of an experienced HR leader.

Responsibilities

70% — Lead US GTM Recruiting

  • Own end-to-end GTM recruiting across the US, with a strong focus on Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and other revenue-generating functions. Build strong talent pipelines and proactively engage high-caliber candidates from leading B2B SaaS, AI, and digital-native technology companies.
  • Establish scalable, data-driven recruiting processes focused on hiring velocity, quality of hire, candidate experience, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead recruitment across our New York and San Francisco locations, adapting hiring strategies to each talent market.
  • Partner with US executives and hiring managers to understand business priorities, define hiring profiles, and translate growth plans into effective hiring strategies.
  • Leverage AI recruiting tools, automation, market intelligence, and innovative sourcing techniques to improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Build Nimble's employer brand and position the company as an attractive destination for exceptional GTM talent.
  • Personally lead full-cycle recruitment for critical and senior positions
  • Manage, coach, and develop a US-based recruiter, setting clear priorities, expectations, and performance standards.

30% — US People Leadership & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted people partner to US executives and mid-level managers, providing practical guidance on organizational effectiveness, leadership, performance, and employee development.
  • Take ownership of the US employee experience, helping build a connected, engaged, and high-performing organization.
  • Partner with managers on people-related challenges, including performance management, employee relations, retention, and team dynamics.
  • Drive culture and engagement initiatives across our New York and San Francisco offices, ensuring our values are reflected in everyday behaviors and management practices.
  • Support leadership in strengthening management capabilities, accountability, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify organizational challenges and proactively recommend solutions that improve team effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Serve as the local People leader for US employees, partnering closely with the global People team to ensure alignment across locations.
  • Lead and support key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, employee development, and organizational changes.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and People leadership roles, within a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup.
  • Digital-native GTM recruiting experience is a must-have.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting high-performing GTM talent in the US, particularly Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Leaders, Customer Success, and other commercial roles.
  • Significant hands-on recruiting experience, candidate assessment, stakeholder management, and closing competitive candidates.
  • Experience managing, coaching, or leading recruiters while remaining personally involved in recruiting execution.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives and mid-level managers on business and people challenges.
  • Strong understanding of US technology talent markets, particularly New York and San Francisco.
  • Exposure to HR business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand commercial priorities and connect hiring and people decisions to business outcomes.
  • Experience working in global, cross-cultural organizations is a strong advantage.
  • A data-driven mindset and familiarity with modern recruiting technologies, AI tools, and ATS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Who You Are

A hands-on builder. You enjoy recruiting and are energized by finding, engaging, and closing exceptional talent. You are not looking for a purely strategic or managerial role. A business-minded partner. You understand how companies grow, what makes GTM teams successful, and how to help leaders make better people decisions. A strong people leader. You know how to coach, challenge, and support managers and team members while maintaining high standards. A culture champion. You believe culture is built through leadership behaviors, accountability, collaboration, and the everyday employee experience. A proactive problem solver. You identify gaps, take ownership, and move quickly from insight to action. Comfortable with ambiguity. You thrive in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities evolve and building new processes is part of the job.
