About Cosmos Labs

Cosmos Labs builds scalable, interoperable, and enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure. We partner with global organizations to design, deploy, and operate blockchain solutions that power trust, transparency, and next-generation digital ecosystems.

As the traditional financial services market gradually adopts Web3 technologies, Cosmos is uniquely positioned to play a role in new use cases such as tokenized deposits, tokenized collaterals, cross-boarder payments, intra-day digital repos, etc.

As we scale our enterprise offering, we’re seeking a Head of Partnerships to lead the development and management of our global partnership ecosystem — spanning sales channel partners (such as system integrators and consulting firms) and complementary business & technology providers that drive customer use cases.

Role Overview

The Head of Partnerships will define and execute Cosmos Labs’ partnership strategy to accelerate adoption of our blockchain technologies and enterprise implementations via clear customer facing use cases. You’ll build and nurture relationships with system integrators (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte), consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey, BCG), and specialist blockchain engineering partners (e.g., B-Harvest, Peersyst).

Your mission: to establish a scalable, high-value partner ecosystem that drives go-to-market execution, expands deployment capabilities, and reinforces Cosmos Labs’ long-term licensing and revenue model.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and own the global partnership strategy aligned with Cosmos Labs’ business growth objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners across consulting, integration, technology and operations domains.
  • Design partnership frameworks that balance commercial opportunity with technology alignment and ecosystem health.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain trusted, executive-level relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead joint business planning, co-selling, and go-to-market activities with major system integrators and consulting firms.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and commercial models.

Ecosystem Development

  • Establish scalable partner enablement programs — which may include certification, training, and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product/Engineering teams to ensure partner feedback informs product roadmap.
  • Represent Cosmos Labs in industry forums, consortiums, and ecosystem events to expand visibility and credibility.

Performance & Governance

  • Define clear KPIs and success metrics for partnerships and alliance performance.
  • Drive regular reporting on partner pipeline, revenue contribution, and strategic outcomes.
  • Continuously optimize partnership structures to support sustainable growth and ecosystem scalability.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise partnerships, business development, or alliance management, preferably in the financial services market.
  • Proven track record building and managing partnerships with system integrators, consulting firms, and technology vendors.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise solution selling.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to operate strategically while executing hands-on partnership initiatives.

Preferred:

  • Experience in blockchain infrastructure, Web3 ecosystems, or distributed systems.
  • Existing network across enterprise integrators or blockchain consultancies.
  • Familiarity with Cosmos SDK, interoperability protocols, or enterprise blockchain frameworks (e.g., Hyperledger, Polygon, Avalanche).
  • MBA or equivalent experience in strategic business leadership.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.
  • Salary range: $175,000–225,000 base, plus bonus and equity
  • Flexible working arrangements (remote/hybrid).
  • Opportunity to shape the global partner strategy of a leading blockchain company.
  • Collaborative, innovative environment bridging enterprise technology and Web3.
  • Professional development and industry exposure at the forefront of blockchain adoption.

Who we are

📌 Cosmos Labs is the core team driving development and growth of the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem, Cosmos technology stack, and the Cosmos Hub. Cosmos powers the largest network of vertically integrated Layer 1 blockchains in the world: 200+ blockchains use the Cosmos Stack in production.

At Cosmos Labs, we are responsible for developing new software and products for the Cosmos Stack and its customers, building and maintaining customer relationships, growing the adoption of our Stack, and fostering the community of independent builders and end users in the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem. Cosmos Labs builds open-source blockchain infrastructure used by 200+ networks globally. The Cosmos SDK and IBC protocol are the foundation for chains managing tens of billions in value. We are now applying this stack to bank tokenized deposits — the most significant shift in banking infrastructure since SWIFT, with the goal of delivering 24/7 asset settlement.

We focus on hiring the core team and senior talent to work together in person in NYC and Berlin to build a collaborative and supportive culture. We are  open to hiring best-in-class remote talent anywhere within 6 hours of the NYC timezone.

Core team member responsibilities
  1. Work to solve hard technical problems at the cutting edge of blockchain research, alongside a world-class team.
  2. Be empowered to make bold technical and strategic decisions, including in product development, software engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
  3. Play a critical role in building our culture, our engineering practices, the products we ship, and our customer relationships.
How we work
  1. We value ambition and work ethic. This means initiative, self development, and adaptability are non-negotiable, even for the most experienced candidates.
  2. We value thoughtful and contentious dialogue over siloed and unilateral decision-making.
  3. We value acknowledging uncertainty and seeking support over unabated confidence and solo performances.
  4. We’re obsessive about documenting everything, learning, and shipping as fast as possible with short feedback cycles.
