Wolf & Badger is on a mission to make retail fair. Supporting our community of independent designers from more than 70 countries, we connect customers with fashion, design, home and beauty from brands vetted against our sustainability guarantees, through our online marketplace and flagship stores in London, New York City and Los Angeles. We are a scale-up business based in the UK and US and a Certified B Corporation, with social and environmental purpose at the core of everything we do. We were the first UK online marketplace to become a certified B Corp, have been recognized by the Financial Times as one of Europe's Long-Term Growth Champions, and were one of the first marketplaces globally to take orders placed by AI shopping agents.

The US is our priority growth market, and we want Wolf & Badger to be known across America as the place to discover independent fashion and design. We are looking for a bold and commercially minded Head of PR & Partnerships to make that happen. Reporting to our Chief Content & Sustainability Officer, working closely with the CEO, and based in our SoHo office, around the corner from our flagship store, you will be the senior face of Wolf & Badger in New York: the person press, creators and marketing partners turn to.

This is a senior generalist role with PR at its core. Alongside earned media, you will own our US creator program, events and marketing partnerships, and you will be judged above all on making Wolf & Badger more widely known in the US: top-tier coverage, creator reach and share of voice, and the demand they create alongside our growth marketing team. You will set PR strategy across our UK and US markets, working closely with colleagues at our London HQ, and own the budget for PR, events and marketing partnerships. Day to day you will work with our Brand Partnerships team, our New York store, our growth marketing team, our London content and social teams, and our US creative agency.

At Wolf & Badger we champion a low-ego environment where cross-functional debate is encouraged in order to reach the best outcomes. We strive to be mission-oriented and fair at all times, and you will join us in growing an engaged, forward-thinking and high-functioning team.

This is a full-time role based in our SoHo office 3+ days per week, with regular time in our New York store and occasional travel to London and Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesPR & Communications
  • Lead the PR and communications strategy for Wolf & Badger, focused on the US with a global view across our UK and US markets
  • Build relationships with top-tier fashion, lifestyle, business, technology and sustainability media, stylists and tastemakers, and land consistent coverage for Wolf & Badger and the independent designers we champion
  • Turn what makes us different into stories: independent designers from around the world, our B Corp standards, physical retail in SoHo and LA, and our work at the frontier of AI-led shopping
  • Own the press office end to end, from story development, press materials, samples and credits to celebrity dressing, reputation management and rapid response
  • Run one PR and events calendar across New York and London, working hand in hand with our London team
  • Success looks like: a steady run of top-tier US coverage, rising share of voice, and PR moments that show up in brand search
Creators
  • Own our US creator strategy and manage our ShopMy relationship, choosing the creators we work with and building long-term relationships, while commission rates, tracking, affiliate reporting and any paid amplification of creator content stay with our growth marketing team
  • Work with our London content and social teams on the Wolf & Badger Tastemakers program, within our brand voice and creative standards
  • Feed the story and creator input into a single brief for our US creative agency, owned by our growth marketing team, so that creator content, UGC and US assets carry one consistent story
  • Success looks like: a growing US creator community with measurable reach and creator-driven sales, reported with growth marketing
Events, Pop-Ups & Partnerships
  • Turn our SoHo store into a stage for the brand, with a program of press, creator, designer and customer events, and build our presence around moments such as New York Fashion Week
  • Identify pop-up, concession and retail collaboration opportunities with like-minded retailers and venues, and lead the press, creator and event program around each one, with Brand Partnerships selecting the participating designers
  • Source, negotiate and deliver marketing and co-branded partnerships with brands outside our marketplace, retailers, venues and organizations that share our values, from first conversation to signed agreement. Relationships with the designer brands on Wolf & Badger sit with our Brand Partnerships team, and anything involving them is planned together
  • Success looks like: each event and partnership measured against a goal set up front, whether coverage, new customers or revenue
US Presence
  • Represent Wolf & Badger in the US at industry events and with press and partners
  • Work with our Brand Partnerships team to make press, events and pop-ups a core part of what our designers get from Wolf & Badger
  • Report on the impact of PR, creator, event and partnership activity, and make the case for where the PR and partnerships budget goes next
  • Grow our brand awareness across the US with a focus on the most commercially relevant markets

Requirements

Required:

  • 6+ years in PR and communications, in-house or agency, in fashion, lifestyle, beauty or retail, with experience managing people, agencies or programs end to end
  • An established network across US fashion, lifestyle and business media, and a track record of landing top-tier coverage
  • Proven experience running creator programs and marketing partnerships, from sourcing through negotiation to results
  • Experience planning and delivering events and activations, from intimate press moments to large launches
  • A commercial, data-literate mindset: you set clear goals for your work and can show the results
  • Confidence representing a business at senior level, and comfort working autonomously across time zones with UK-based leadership
  • A genuine passion for independent brands, fashion and sustainability
  • Energy, humor and self-awareness, thriving in a feedback-driven, growth-oriented culture

Highly Desired:

  • Experience in a scale-up, marketplace or multi-brand retailer
  • Experience with ShopMy, LTK or similar creator commerce platforms
  • Experience briefing creative, content or PR agencies
  • Experience delivering pop-ups, concessions or retail partnerships
  • Experience across the UK and US markets
  • Familiarity with B Corp or mission-driven businesses

This is more than just a PR role: it is the chance to build the US profile of a marketplace for independent designers, and to shape its reputation globally. If you're a senior communicator ready to make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
