Head of Resale Markets | Location: NYC Preferred (Hybrid 3 days/week)

About SuperCircle
Supercircle is the AI-powered operating system for recovering value from billions of unsold and post-sale products across global
retail. Brands lose $170B a year to returned, damaged, and excess inventory, and 60% of products and clothing are burned or
landfilled within a year of manufacture date. We are unlocking waste as a value generator rather than a cost center, building a new
reverse logistics economy for the world’s leading brands.
Our AI-powered platform is already the de facto partner for the enterprise market trusted by 100+ brands including J.Crew, VF
Corp, GUESS, Reformation, FIGS and Parachute, and has already orchestrated the diversion of 12M+ products from t-shirts to
basketballs from landfill while returning $50M+ to our partners' P&Ls.
Supercircle is a leading venture backed company in NYC that has raised $40M+ to date from top VCs, including a $24M Series A led
by Foundry in 2025 and continuing to grow even faster as we move towards our next round.
Led by multi-time co-founders in tech, retail, fashion, and supply chain, Supercircle’s stacked team includes one of the former
founders at Gilt Groupe and operators from companies including Flexport, eBay, Equinox, Gap, The RealReal, Afterpay, Meta and
Google.
We are building the rails for an industry that has, until now, run on spreadsheets and pallets — and we're just getting started on
the $170B+ in unmanaged inventory and unrecovered value sitting on brands' balance sheets.

About the Role
SuperCircle is looking for a Head of Resale Markets to build our resale value-recovery engine end to end — and with it, a market.
This is a heart-of-the-business role: the recovery value you unlock on brand end-of-life inventory — trade-ins, overstock, excess
and obsolete, and returns — flows directly into the P&L, and the markets you build shape where the business goes next.
The opportunity is bigger than running a channel. Resale and liquidation is a legacy industry, and this role is about bringing it into a
digital world — building alongside ecosystem players and partners like Ghost and ThredUp, and establishing the new channel and
resale partnerships that don't exist yet.
It's equal parts strategy, ops, biz dev, and partnership — which means negotiating resale partners and closing a lot price in the
same week you're building the manifest and managing the truck plan against a hard deadline. You know the landscape cold: live
sellers, eBay and ThredUp supersellers, Poshmark, wholesale, liquidators, off-price agents.
We're moving fast, and we need someone ready to hit the ground running from day one, and to set the foundation to build their
own team over time.

What You’ll Do
Commercial — BD & Partnerships
● Source, vet, and onboard resale partners across channels: live selling, online marketplace supersellers, wholesale
resellers, liquidators, and off-price agents
● Run competitive offer processes — assemble comparable quotes, build decision-ready channel comparisons, and present
recommendations clearly
● Negotiate lot pricing and commercial terms with large agents and supersellers; hold your own in the room with operators
who have 20+ years of experience
● Manage ongoing partner performance against recovery targets and program cadence; run partner QBRs and hold partners
accountable
● Continuously map the channel landscape and identify new partners that improve recovery rates or unlock new inventory
categories
Ops Excellence & Scaling
● Scale resale operations and optimize the resale operating model alongside internal stakeholders and external partners
● Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Ops teams on sort, manifest, and disposition technologies
● Oversee continuous improvement across partner recovery and sell-through rates, sort and manifesting SLAs, order
fulfillment SLAs, and dispute/claims SLAs.

What You Bring
● 5–10 years of experience in one or more of the following: seller-side resale in fashion or apparel, off-price or liquidation
BD, reverse logistics or e-commerce operations — with real ownership of outcomes, not just support
● Deep, firsthand knowledge of the resale channel landscape — you can speak to specific channel economics, typical
recovery rates by channel, and the difference between a strong quote and a lowball
● Demonstrated experience running competitive offer processes and negotiating with major resale agents, liquidators, or
marketplace supersellers — you do not get intimidated and you can smell a bluff
● Hands-on experience building and managing manifests, PO/BOL, packing plans, and settlement reconciliation — you know
the operational mechanics of moving physical inventory
● Advanced spreadsheet fluency: pivots, lookups, recovery-rate analysis, channel-mix modeling — you turn messy inventory
data into clean, decision-ready output
● Experience operating in an early-stage or scaling environment where you personally stood up processes, tools, or partner
relationships from scratch — not inherited them
● Strong written communication: you produce clear quote comparisons, partner briefs, and brand-facing reports without
hand-holding
● A bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and the discipline to execute against hard deadlines — both the commercial
and operational sides of this role, simultaneously

Why Supercircle
We're the de facto technology and supply chain infrastructure for the post-sale economy. 100+ brands run on our physical
AI network to route returns, excess, and trade-ins to their highest-value outcome, and we've already returned $50M+ to
their P&Ls. As part of our team, you'll have the rare chance to be a market maker in a category where market, AI, and policy
tailwinds are converging at once. If you're ready to define an industry and build with us, let's talk.
