We are seeking a Head of Strategic Alliances, a senior leader who will define and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to accelerate Micromedex’s transformation and growth.
This role will build and scale a portfolio of strategic partnerships and partner ecosystems, translating relationships into repeatable growth engines that drive product innovation, revenue expansion, and market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alliances & Portfolio Development

  • Define and execute a partnerships strategy aligned to product, AI, and go-to-market priorities

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities across:

    • AI/LLM platforms and agentic workflows

    • EHRs and other clinical workflow systems

    • Data aggregation and content integrations

  • Build a balanced portfolio of strategic, commercial, and ecosystem partnerships

Deal Structuring & Negotiation

  • Lead end-to-end partnership deal design including licensing, revenue share, and data rights

  • Structure innovative models across embedding, API, and co-development scenarios

  • Negotiate complex agreements with senior stakeholders across partner organizations

  • Partner with Legal, Product, Security, and Compliance to ensure regulatory alignment

Ecosystem Development

  • Design and scale a partner ecosystem (system integrators, resellers, platform partners)

  • Define partner segmentation, coverage, and engagement models

  • Build onboarding, enablement, and performance frameworks

  • Establish partner governance and accountability metrics

Operationalization & Scale

  • Translate partnerships into scalable operating models including:

    • Technical integration plans

    • Product and roadmap alignment

    • Go-to-market enablement

    • Performance tracking and optimization

  • Develop repeatable frameworks to reduce friction and accelerate time-to-value

Revenue & Growth

  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue contribution

  • Prioritize integration partners to drive stickiness and retention

  • Partner with Sales to execute co-sell motions and account strategies

  • Expand monetization through:

    • Licensing and API-based revenue

    • Embedded and integrated solutions

    • Indirect and partner-driven distribution

Product & Market Influence

  • Bring ecosystem insights into product strategy and roadmap prioritization

  • Identify co-development opportunities with strategic partners

  • Ensure alignment between product strategy and partnership priorities

  • Stay ahead of trends in AI, clinical automation, and decision intelligence

Executive & External Leadership

  • Build and maintain senior executive relationships across partner organizations

  • Represent Micromedex externally in key industry and partnership settings

  • Present partnerships strategy and performance to executive leadership

  • Build and scale a partnerships function over time

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 10–15+ years in partnerships, alliances, or business development in healthcare, data, or enterprise SaaS

  • Proven track record of structuring and scaling high-value partnerships

  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, workflows, and regulatory constraints

  • Experience working with AI, platform ecosystems, or data-driven solutions

  • Ability to operate across strategy, deal execution, and scaling

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in clinical decision support, EHR integrations, or pharmacy systems

  • Experience partnering with AI platforms, LLM providers, or automation vendors

  • Familiarity with SaaS and data licensing business models

Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

Min – Max :

$255,569.37 - $383,354.05 (USD)
