Why you should join us

Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. We are building a commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to take control of their content supply chain. Some reasons for why you should join us are:

  • Rapid growth: Over the past year, we have been working with some of the top life sciences manufacturers as well as marketing agencies and are working with over 50+ pharma brands.

  • Frontiers of technology: We’re building applications and rapidly iterating technical approaches at the frontiers of AI, experimenting with LLMs and new frameworks. We are deployed to some of the most innovative pharmaceutical brands in the industry while actively incorporating new, advanced frameworks to our solution aggressively.

  • Top-tier investors: We’ve raised $3.5mm+ from investors like Twelve Below, Virtue and the founders of Datavant, Commure, and Paradigm to supercharge our growth and build an elite team of engineers and operators.

Building anything great requires commitment and dedication. We’re looking for someone who has the fire to prove others wrong 🚀

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Talent to lead the charge in building an extraordinary team at Solstice. This is a rare opportunity to define and scale the people strategy of a company operating at the intersection of AI and life sciences. You’ll be responsible for everything from shaping our employer brand to driving high-velocity hiring, ensuring that every person who joins Solstice raises the bar.

You’ll collaborate directly with co-founders Yiwen and Aris and work closely across engineering, product, and customer functions to scale a world-class team. The ideal candidate is a true builder — someone who thrives in ambiguity, believes deeply in culture as a competitive advantage, and wants to grow one of the most exciting early-stage startups in health tech.

What you’ll be working on
  • Build an impeccable recruiting experience for candidates, from sourcing to onboarding.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy across all departments, including engineering, operations, and customer success.

  • Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs, define role scopes, and manage full-cycle recruiting for high-impact positions.

  • Drive Solstice's branding initiatives, tell Solstice’s story and attract top talent who align with our mission and values.

  • Implement recruiting analytics to track pipeline health, candidate conversion rates, and time-to-hire metrics.

  • Create programs to nurture internal talent, manage performance reviews, and foster leadership development.

Some ideal traits we’re looking for
  • Builder mentality. You have experience scaling teams from the ground up, ideally in a fast-moving startup or tech-driven organization.

  • Strategic and operational. You can design long-term talent strategies while also executing hands-on recruiting at pace.

  • Deep recruiting expertise and network. Proven track record sourcing and closing top talent across technical and non-technical roles. Must have a strong network in the technical startup ecosystem.

  • High EQ and storytelling ability. You can inspire candidates, communicate Solstice’s mission with authenticity, and build meaningful relationships.

  • Bias for action. You thrive on momentum and have an “always shipping” mentality — speed matters.

  • Culture champion. You believe people and culture are core to competitive advantage, not just support functions.

  • Unreal work ethic. Diamonds were not made overnight.

Benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision

  • Relocation support

  • Opportunity to work at a high-velocity and high-energy startup

  • Visa sponsorship (O-1) for internationals
