The HR Product Strategy Center is seeking an HR Business Intelligence Data Analyst. You’ll join a group of curious, highly skilled professionals who are passionate about enabling the System with effective technology and data solutions for Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Pay, Rewards, and Administrative HR functions. As the HR Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you’ll influence how workforce information is viewed at a System-level —bringing clarity to complexity, creating new connections across business lines, and helping leaders see the story behind the numbers. Key Activities 

Design and Develop System-Level Workforce Intelligence 

  • Architect cohesive system workforce perspective that integrates insights across the employee lifecycle. 

  • Shape how workforce information is structured and presented at the Federal Reserve System level. 

  • Develop and evolve system workforce intelligence frameworks that support strategic decision-making. 

Synthesize and Elevate Insights 

  • Identify meaningful workforce patterns and emerging system-level trends. 

  • Provide ongoing horizontal visibility across the system. 

  • Connect workforce insights into system priorities and long-term considerations. 

Cross-Functional Integration 

  • Partner with other business lines (e.g. Finance) to align workforce insights with broader organizational metrics. 

  • Contribute to the development of cross-functional, system-level reporting that integrates workforce, finance, and other operational perspectives. 

  • Ensure workforce intelligence supports system-wide planning and decision-making. 

Strategic Storytelling and Executive Engagement 

  • Translate workforce data into clear, executive-ready narratives. 

  • Frame workforce discussion around system direction and strategic objectives. 

  • Elevate system-level workforce themes for leadership consideration. 

Partnership and Alignment 

  • Collaborate with the Data Product Owner to ensure system workforce intelligence informs system-level priorities and product evolution. 

  • Support alignment between workforce insights and the broader HRPSC product strategy. 

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Typically requires at least 10-15years of relevant experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in an information technology field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. 

  • Advanced to mastery understanding of subject. Has specialized depth and/or substantial breadth of expertise in discipline. Often relied on to provide thought leadership regarding industry experience and knowledge. 

  • Serves as a thought leader for solving complex business problems with innovative solutions and approaches that maximize business value and desired outcomes. May provide input into strategic direction. 

  • Performs work independently. Coaches, delegates, and reviews work of less experienced staff, as well as serves as a knowledge resource. May serve as a team lead. 

 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • HR experience. 

  • Workday report development experience. 

  • Tableau and/or Power BI visualization experience. 

  • Alteryx experience.

Location(s) 

  • The selected candidate will reside within a reasonable commuting distance, as defined by the employing Reserve Bank, and will work full-time onsite.  

  • Locations: Boston, MA- New York, NY- Philadelphia, PA- Cleveland, OH- Richmond, VA- Atlanta, GA- Chicago, IL- St. Louis, MO- Minneapolis, MN- Kansas City, MO- Dallas, TX- San Francisco, CA

Salary for Kansas City: 

  • $112,600 - $160,400 / Advanced Level  

  • $134,300 - $191,200 / Expert-Lead Level  

  • The listed salariesare applicable to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City 

  • Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.
