About Us

Advanced Dermatology, PC is a growing organization seeking a motivated, detail-oriented HR Generalist to support a variety of human resources functions. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working independently, building positive employee relationships, and contributing to a collaborative workplace culture.

Position Summary

The Part-Time HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, onboarding, and HR recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and knowledgeable about human resources best practices and employment regulations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain accurate records, including employee changes, deductions, and timekeeping review
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation
  • Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives
  • Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Assist with policy development and HR process improvements
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate personnel records
  • Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, disability, and paid leave programs
  • Partner with management to support workforce planning and employee engagement efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
  • Experience maintaining payroll records
  • Knowledge of employment laws, payroll practices, and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
