What we offer
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We were the first company to tokenize exposure to US Treasuries, and have since expanded into several other assets. We are also focused on incubating protocols that can support both tokenized real-world assets and traditional crypto.
Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
The HR Operations Lead will own and scale Ondo’s core People infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving our HR systems, compensation operations, compliance frameworks, and employee lifecycle processes. As we grow, operational excellence in People systems becomes a structural advantage, and this role will serve as the backbone of that foundation. You will partner closely with Finance, Legal, IT, and leadership to ensure People operations are accurate, efficient, and built to support a high-performance organization.
- HR systems operate with high data integrity, audit readiness, and minimal manual intervention
- Compensation cycles are executed accurately and on schedule with strong governance
- Managers experience reduced administrative burden due to streamlined People processes
- Compliance risk is proactively mitigated across domestic and international employment requirements
- People data is reliable, decision-grade, and consistently informs leadership planning
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize HRIS, benefits platforms, payroll integrations, and associated data workflows
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness of all People data and documentation
- Design and implement scalable People processes that reduce manual work and manager friction
- Lead compensation cycles including merit increases, bonus calculations, and equity grants
- Maintain compensation bands, documentation, and change controls to ensure compliance and consistency
- Oversee compliant onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and lifecycle workflows
- Partner with Legal to manage employment compliance across federal, state, and international jurisdictions
- Produce recurring People reports including headcount, attrition, compensation distribution, performance trends, and promotion velocity
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement automation, including AI-enabled tooling within governance guardrails
- Develop and maintain SOPs that enable the People function to scale without increasing bureaucracy
Requirements
- 5 to 7 or more years of HR Operations or People Operations experience
- Experience owning HRIS platforms and compensation administration processes
- Strong understanding of employment law fundamentals and regulatory compliance
- Experience supporting performance review and compensation planning cycles
- Demonstrated systems thinking and process design capability
- High attention to detail and strong judgment when handling sensitive information
- Experience operating in high-growth, fast-moving environments
Nice to haves
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or high-growth technology companies
- Experience supporting distributed or remote-first teams
- Direct experience with Rippling or comparable HRIS platforms
- Experience building structured compensation infrastructure including bands, merit cycles, and bonus modeling
What we offer
- Competitive compensation including but not limited to salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — We are well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
- Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
- Remote-first team across many countries — You will be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
- A+ colleagues — Our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap.
- Best-in-class investors — We are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.
