We are looking for a talented HR Process and Technology Solutions Manager to join our team specializing in Human Resources for Cummins Inc. in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive measurable improvements in HR efficiency by leading end‑to‑end evaluations of HR processes and recommending targeted, technology‑enabled optimization strategies.
- Translate complex user needs into clear, actionable system requirements and success criteria using user‑centered design principles.
- Partner with IT and vendors to evaluate, select, and implement HR technology solutions that align to business cases, including leading demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
- Elevate the intuitiveness and user experience of HR solutions by applying best‑fit UX frameworks and continuously improving usability and engagement.
- Ensure successful technology adoption by developing and executing comprehensive rollout strategies, including communications, training, process flows, and knowledge assets.
- Resolve systemic process challenges by leading root‑cause analysis of non‑technical issues and collaborating with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions.

- Leverage data analytics to inform decisions by interpreting qualitative and quantitative data, applying business frameworks and statistical methods, and clearly communicating insights that enable data‑driven outcomes.
- Operate as a trusted HR consultant by partnering with stakeholders to diagnose needs, apply sound judgment, and deliver balanced, holistic solutions that meet both employee and organizational priorities.
- Design integrated HR technology solutions by evaluating and defining HR systems that align to business needs and enable efficient, scalable, technology‑enabled processes.
- Champion user‑centered HR experiences by applying deep empathy for end users to create solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and enhance overall engagement and adoption.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent experience in Human Resources or Information Technology
Experience:
- Familiarity with current and emerging HR technology solutions.
- Understanding of technology evaluation and implementation processes.
- Experience analyzing complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop actionable
recommendations. - Demonstrable experience conveying complex information clearly to diverse technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:

- Experience analyzing and consulting on business processes, including documenting workflows, identifying pain points, and recommending practical improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, or AI-enabled process improvement.
- Ability to quickly learn new business processes and the systems that support them.
- Experience partnering with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into process and system requirements, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), and driving adoption of process and technology changes.
- Basic project management skills, including developing high-level plans, tracking actions/issues, and developing test strategies and plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including process documentation and stakeholder communication.
Preferred
- Experience in a business analyst, process improvement, or internal consulting role.
- Experience working with HR processes or HR technology.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement, design thinking, or other structured problem-solving approaches.
- International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification, any level
