Job Description

This position will assist inconceptualization, program development, implementation, and communication and monitoring of functional initiatives relevant to Talent, Organization Development, Organization Design, Total Rewards and Culture. The focus will be to continually develop HR initiatives and strategies that align with business strategy, values, and mission. The HRD-BP is a working manager and functions both strategically and also as the first HR point of contact for assigned business functions.

  • Support the Corporation's 5 Year Plan by designing and executing key Human Capital Initiatives. As a member of the HR leadership Team, design HR strategy aligned with the corporation's business goals; key participant in HR strategic planning process.
  • Support attainment of organizational results through effective HR leadership by assessing and addressing internal customer needs. Examples include workforce planning/providing input for new business initiatives, organization design, employee relations, performance management, managing change and process improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong credible alliances and partnerships with executives, managers and associates. Key contributor in internal client leadership meetings and advising on HR implications.
  • Provide coaching to executives and managers to maximize their effectiveness in leading change. Assess and provide input on Leadership Development and department training needs in conjunction with Director of Talent and OD.
  • Facilitate the company's performance management process; manage employee relations effectively.
  • Collaborate with Director of Total Rewards, assist in developing and implementing the company's Total Rewards Strategy; interact effectively with Corporate, Business and HR leaders to optimize the effectiveness of rewards programs.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition and business unit managers to effectively identify and attract key talent for the organization.
  • Monitor trends/best practices, both internally and externally and make recommendations towards implementation or improvement.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, holding self and others accountable for results

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Ability to present ideas and recommendations at all levels within the organization.
  • Broad based knowledge of Employee Relations/Labor Law and Organization Design.
  • Decisive and experienced leader who enjoys the opportunities of change, and is comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.
  • High-energy and confident team player who can easily collaborate cross functionally with the executive management team.
  • Active communicator attuned to satisfying the needs of customers, both internal and external, with creative and savvy solutions; a problem solver.
  • Motivated, goal-oriented person driven to succeed in a collaborative win-win manner. Strong Team Player is a must.
  • Able to make tough decisions and demonstrate leadership courage.
  • Irrefutable business and personal ethics.
  • BA/BS required; Master Degree preferred.
