About Trayd

Trayd is building the operating system for commercial construction: payroll, compliance, and back office workflows that actually work in the real world.

Construction is one of the largest industries in North America, yet much of the software that runs it is outdated, manual, and fragile. Companies spend hours every week reconciling payroll, tracking job costs, and managing compliance across disconnected systems. The consequences of mistakes are real. Workers do not get paid correctly. Businesses lose time and money. Stress compounds.

We’re changing that.

We help subcontractors run payroll, manage workers, and operate their businesses with confidence. That means onboarding is not a checkbox process. It is a critical moment where customers trust us with their data, their workflows, and their business operations.

We are in the next phase of growth, with accelerating customer demand and a platform that runs real payroll every week, and we are scaling the team to match it.

The Role

We are hiring an Implementations Analyst to launch new customers onto Trayd.

You will own customer implementations from sales handoff through first live payroll: gathering and migrating data, running kickoff calls, configuring accounts, training customers, and supporting launch. You will be the customer's primary point of contact throughout - this is a customer-facing role, not a back-office data role.

Implementations are where customers hand us their data, their workflows, and their trust. The work demands precision, proactive communication, and comfort with messy, real-world data. You'll follow a proven playbook, and as you master it, you'll help make it better.

What You'll Do

  • Own customer implementations end to end, from kickoff through successful first payroll and handoff to Customer Success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout onboarding, communicating proactively and building trust.
  • Run kickoff calls to understand how each customer operates today: time tracking, payroll review, union rules, overtime, and job costing.
  • Lead data migrations: extract employee, compensation, and payroll data from legacy systems, clean and standardize it, and QA imports into Trayd with high accuracy.
  • Train customers on the platform, help them configure their workflows in Trayd, and support their first live payroll runs.
  • Manage multiple active implementations at different stages, keeping each on track against its launch timeline.
  • Flag gaps in product or process and contribute improvements to the implementation playbook.

Who You Are

  • You have 1–4 years of experience in implementations, onboarding, customer success, consulting, or operations, ideally in SaaS or technology-enabled services.
  • You are customer-facing by nature; comfortable on the phone with business owners and operators, not just email.
  • You are strong in Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation).
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented; errors in payroll data have real consequences and you take that seriously.
  • You take ownership, communicate proactively, and are comfortable with ambiguity; you don't wait to be told what to do.
  • You are curious about construction. You don't need to know the industry on day one, but you want to learn it and are at ease in that world.
  • You are NYC-based or ready to relocate quickly.

Nice To Have

  • Prior implementations or onboarding experience.
  • Experience with payroll, financial systems, ERP, or compliance-heavy software.
  • Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
  • Construction or manufacturing industry background.
  • SQL or data analysis tools.

Working style

This is an in-person role in New York City, five days a week. We move quickly, collaborate constantly, and value people who take initiative and ownership.

If you want to own high-impact customer work and grow with a category-defining company, you will fit here.
