Industry Marketing Director, Financial Services

Position Overview

Intapp's financial services business spans private capital markets, investment banking and advisory, and real assets — and this role owns how we show up in those markets. As Industry Marketing Director, you'll set the messaging architecture and thought leadership strategy that positions Intapp as the essential partner for firms navigating AI adoption, deal execution, and the evolving business of private capital. This is a Director-level individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Portfolio & Industry Marketing.

Day to day, you'll develop industry content and GTM collateral, support strategic deal pursuits, and partner closely with Industry Principals, Solution Product Marketers, Sales, and Demand Generation. The right candidate brings deep knowledge of private capital markets — private equity, private credit, venture capital, real assets, or investment banking — combined with proven enterprise SaaS or B2B marketing experience. Familiarity with AI-driven transformation, deal origination, fund operations, and the key buyer personas at PE and IB firms is essential.

What you will do:

As an Industry Marketing Director, Financial Services, you can expect to:

  • Own the financial services messaging architecture — defining the annual themes and narrative that connect private capital markets, investment banking, and real assets challenges to Intapp's differentiated value across all channels and buyer personas.
  • Create high-impact thought leadership — including CXO perspectives, proprietary research, and conference content that builds Intapp's credibility with Managing Partners, CFOs, COOs, and Heads of Deal Teams at target firms.
  • Build and maintain the FS GTM bill of materials — competitive positioning, sales plays, executive pitch decks, use cases, and proof points that improve win rates and equip the field for high-stakes deals.
  • Drive strategic deal support (15–25% of time) — joining executive briefings, developing custom presentations, and providing competitive positioning that advances large, complex opportunities.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional execution — partnering with Industry Principals, Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Sales Enablement to activate ABM campaigns, industry events, and sales training.

What you will need:

Intapp is looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated professionals who like to get hands-on to contribute to the overall success of the business and their team. To apply for this Industry Marketing Director role, you will ideally have:

  • Deep knowledge of private capital markets — private equity, private credit, venture capital, real assets, or investment banking — ideally from direct experience in the industry or in a firm-facing advisory, consulting, or fintech marketing role.
  • 10+ years in product marketing, industry marketing, or management consulting, with a track record of building thought leadership that drives pipeline in enterprise B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop executive-level content — published points-of-view, conference speaking, or C-suite messaging — that builds market credibility and influences buying decisions.
  • Strong GTM instincts: experience with portfolio or vertical messaging, ABM, competitive positioning, and translating platform capabilities into industry-specific value propositions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence to represent Intapp in client briefings and at industry events.
  • Collaborative operating style with the ability to lead through influence across Sales, Product, and Marketing in a matrixed organization; willingness to travel up to 25%.

What you will gain:

At Intapp, you'll get the opportunity to bring your talents and intellectual curiosity to create better outcomes for our people and our clients. You'll be part of a growing public company, with a modern work environment that's connected yet flexible and where your professional growth and well-being are top priorities. We'll collaborate and grow together, supporting each other in a positive, open atmosphere that fosters creativity, innovation, and teamwork.
