Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, forward‑thinking, and highly motivated Infrastructure Strategy Project Manager to support the ongoing development and delivery of our clients Infrastructure Department.

The ideal candidate will be an agile and innovative thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of providing executive‑level insights and operating with a high degree of autonomy. The role focuses on translating strategic direction into actionable initiatives, leading complex cross‑functional projects, and collaborating effectively with teams across the airport and with external partners. The successful candidate will bring experience in initiating, managing, and delivering strategic infrastructure projects in support of infrastructure delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Support the development, coordination, and management of strategic direction and processes within the Infrastructure Department, ensuring efficient and aligned cross‑departmental connectivity.
  • Ensure alignment with National Aviation Policy, regulatory and legislative requirements, client policies, strategies, Capital Investment Plans, and Masterplans.
  • Lead and coordinate interface management across strategic projects within Infrastructure.
  • Track CEO objectives and departmental goals, reporting monthly progress.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the internal teams and external stakeholders to align infrastructure with broader aviation and transport strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates, presentations, and briefings to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across the Infrastructure Department and the wider organisation.

Innovation

  • Break down complex problems into manageable components, applying critical thinking, and structured evaluation to determine impacts and recommendations.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances or information.

Project Planning and Management

  • Coordinate internal resources, technical teams, and external partners to deliver strategic projects effectively.
  • Ensure project interfaces are identified and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with executive‑level reporting requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years’ experience of complex infrastructure, transport, or aviation projects within a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in a strategic project management role, contributing to both strategic direction and project delivery.
  • Strong experience working across multidisciplinary and cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement at senior and executive levels.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience preparing executive‑level reports, presentations, and strategic updates.
  • Knowledge of airport or aviation operations is advantageous but not essential.
