The world’s leading organizations and global players choose Proskauer to represent them when they need it the most. With 800+ lawyers in key financial centers around the world, we are known for our pragmatic and business-savvy approach.

Proskauer is the place to turn when a matter is complex, innovative and game-changing. We work seamlessly across practices, industries and jurisdictions with asset managers, private equity and venture capital firms, Fortune 500 and FTSE companies, major sports leagues, entertainment industry legends and other industry-redefining companies.

We are seeking an Innovation & Transformation Specialist (Legal Technology) to join our team in New York. Innovation & Transformation is Proskauer's function for innovation, transformation, legal technology enablement, and continuous improvement, responsible for delivering governed, adopted, and measurable change across practices, matters, and regions. You will help lawyers and business professionals across every practice get the most out of the technology and AI that shape modern legal work. You will design, deliver, train, and support; you will partner directly with lawyers and colleagues across the firm; and you will play a real role in a function that is reshaping how Proskauer operates.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery and implementation of in-scope legal technology, internally built solutions, automations, and integrations, from concept through go-live.
  • Design, build, and manage practice area portals, collaboration sites, and document automation products (including SharePoint, HighQ, and equivalent tooling) to ensure they provide an accurate, up-to-date repository of practice, matter, and client knowledge.
  • Provide day-to-day management and business-as-usual support of the practice technology used by lawyers and business professionals, including contract analysis software, document automation, e-signature software, client collaboration tools, and transaction management solutions.
  • Deliver tailored training, 1:1 support, and learning resources on the firm's legal technology and knowledge repositories for lawyers, treating adoption as a design requirement rather than a post-go-live activity.
  • Drive ongoing adoption of practice technology across the firm, embedding tools into matter workflows, supporting behavioral change, and working with practice champions and super-user networks.
  • Contribute to the firm's approach to responsible use of AI in legal practice by supporting rollout, training, feedback capture, and day-to-day enablement of AI-enabled products within the assigned scope.
  • Triage user issues, questions, and enhancement requests; resolve where possible and route to the appropriate owner, vendor, or delivery pathway where escalation is required.
  • Design and maintain quality assurance workflows for updates to collaboration portals, document automation products, and client-facing applications; conduct usage audits; and keep documentation, playbooks, and user guidance current to sustain operational continuity.
  • Capture adoption, usage, and support signals for owned products, feeding these into the function's measurement and optimization work, and route process improvement and automation opportunities into the function's intake and prioritization process.
  • Working flexibly across the function to support firm priorities as they emerge, providing cover and clean handovers for teammates, and responding promptly to inbound requests, escalating where a decision is required at a more senior level.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a law firm, professional services environment, or client services business supporting lawyers or knowledge workers.
  • Familiarity with the legal practice environment and an interest in how legal services are delivered, transformed, and improved.
  • Experience in and passion for legal technology, including but not limited to generative AI, collaboration platforms, document automation, e-signature, contract analysis, and transaction management tooling.
  • Self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multi-tasking and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed function, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

Proskauer is committed to providing a work environment that includes equal opportunity without regard to race, color, gender, age, creed, sex, religion, national origin, disability (physical or mental), marital status, citizenship, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, or any other legally protected status.
