DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Trade modelling, trade execution, post-trade operations management. Cover clients and conduct market intelligence. Support Senior Salespeople with coverage of Institutional asset managers and hedge funds. Act as the primary coverage for a set of institutional asset manager and hedge fund clients. Market a full suite of interest rate products including US treasuries, swaps, swaptions, rates exotics, and cross-currency to institutional clients. Conduct trade idea generation. Collaborate with global peers in servicing clients across time zones.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Institutional NA Interest Rates Sales, Research and Assessment Data Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Identifying gaps in business and analyzing sales & trading relationships; Developing tools to track progress and ensure businesses meet thresholds for trade stats, hit rates, and SOW; Modeling interest rate derivatives and exotic structures including dual digitals and contingent curve options; Pricing instruments and exotic structures using models including Black-Scholes, normal vs. lognormal vol, skew, and vol smile, and the risks associated with the Greeks including Delta, Gamma, Vega, and Theta; Anticipating market moves in rates relative to other asset classes using macroeconomic relationships along with micro-relative value associations such as cash futures basis; Recommending trade ideas to clients including rich vs. cheap analysis of specific securities and forward points on the swaps curve; Conducting data modeling and analysis in excel building spot and forward swap curves to identify market dislocations.

Full-Time. Salary:  $175,000 - $200,000 per year.
