Job Description:
The primary purpose of this role is to support the sales efforts of Russell Investments’ North America Institutional business. The role contributes to every stage of the sales process by working closely with senior institutional sales professionals and other key stakeholders across the firm. Core responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and finalizing sales materials; gathering and calculating performance and pricing data; and preparing background research. The position enhances the sales team’s productivity by collecting and interpreting data accurately, managing competing priorities, and delivering high‑quality, timely outputs.
The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
Provide day‑to‑day support to the institutional sales team. Identifies and prioritizes incoming requests and ensure urgent items are handled timely.
Prepare and update sales presentations, pitch materials, and other documents used in client and prospect meetings. Coordinate compliance approval for all relevant deliverables.
Research meeting attendees, client background, and relevant sales opportunities ahead of meetings.
Gather performance data, fund/solution information, pricing details, and other investment‑related tasks as required.
Leverage technology to support the sales process through effective use and training of the following tools: CRM, Seismic, ZoomInfo etc
Work with colleagues across the business, including investment teams, performance & reporting, product, marketing, and compliance, to gather information and complete requests efficiently.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills and experience including the following:
Relevant bachelors degree (Finance, Economic, Business Management, Communication, Marketing etc) preferred
At least one year of relevant experience with demonstrated knowledge of financial markets, investment industry, investment products, or other related financial area (exceptional graduates will be considered).
Ability to work under pressure and with conflicting deadlines
Strong administrative, analytical, quantitative and organizational skills.
Self-starter and able to demonstrate initiative
Proficient in Microsoft suite - intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables) + Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
