About Bobbie

Bobbie makes European-style organic infant formula manufactured end-to-end in the U.S., because we believe every parent deserves to feed their baby with confidence, without judgment and without compromise. No mystery ingredients. No shortcuts. Just clean, thoughtfully made formula that parents can trust.

But Bobbie has never been just a formula company. When the 2022 national infant formula shortage left parents across the country unable to feed their babies, we closed our storefront to new customers rather than leave a single existing family without formula. We went to Washington. We got loud. And we opened our Heath, Ohio manufacturing facility to make sure something like that could never happen again.

That's who we are, and that's what you'd be joining.

Bobbie for Change

Our advocacy arm, Bobbie for Change, exists because making great formula isn't enough if the systems around parenthood are still broken. We fight for paid federal parental leave, push for legislation to prevent future formula shortages, advocate for feeding equity, and support families navigating impossible situations, including donating formula to parents impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers through the Bobbie Breasties program.

We're a company that genuinely believes becoming a parent makes you an activist. The people who work here feel that too.

The Role:

As Manager, Growth & Insights, you will be responsible for turning consumer, category, and market intelligence into growth opportunities across Bobbie’s Infant Formula and New Ventures portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of consumer insights, innovation, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy, helping shape what we build, how we launch, and how we scale.

You’ll partner closely with Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Finance, and external research partners to identify unmet consumer needs, validate innovation, size opportunities, develop commercialization strategies, and measure launch success.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves connecting data with storytelling, ramps up quickly, and enjoys making an immediate impact on in-flight work across the innovation lifecycle.

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), temporary employee position for a 6-month term, providing coverage for a member of our team during a planned leave. The anticipated start date is mid-November. The end date may be adjusted based on business needs.

What you will accomplish:

Consumer, Category & Growth Insights

  • Drive in-flight and planned consumer learning plans across infant formula and innovation platforms, from early discovery through post-launch optimization.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative research, including concept testing, product testing, pricing, messaging, and usage studies.
  • Monitor consumer, category, retailer, and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities and emerging whitespace.
  • Build business cases, opportunity sizing, and market assessments to support innovation prioritization and commercialization decisions.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations that shape product strategy, positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market
  • Partner with Innovation, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to develop commercialization strategies for new ventures.
  • Support pricing architecture, pack strategy, assortment recommendations, and retailer launch strategies.
  • Develop retailer-specific insights, selling stories, and commercialization materials.
  • Establish launch success criteria and support go-to-market execution across cross-functional teams.
Growth Analytics & Brand Performance
  • Maintain and execute the New Ventures measurement framework across consumer, commercial, and brand performance.
  • Maintain and enhance KPIs and dashboards to track brand health, commercialization, retail performance, and innovation success.
  • Analyze syndicated data (Circana, NIQ, SPINS), retailer performance, DTC metrics, and competitive trends.
  • Partner with Marketing to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize messaging and brand performance.
  • Measure launch performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend course corrections.
  • Deliver recurring business reviews and executive reporting with actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the insights lead across Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Finance.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for external research agencies and syndicated data partners.
  • Influence strategic decisions through data-driven storytelling and executive presentations.
  • Document progress, key decisions, and open items to ensure a seamless transition at the end of the assignment.
  • Champion a consumer-first mindset across the New Ventures organization.

You’re inspired by our core values:

  • Be Radical - We are change makers, rule breakers and stigma shakers. We are unapologetically bold and use our megaphone for good.
  • Nurture the Tension - Parenthood is full of healthy tension, and so is building a company. We embrace the unknowns, practice humility and are a culture of learners.
  • Deliver Ounce by Ounce - Our customers have entrusted us to feed their babies. We lose sleep over the details, so they don’t have to.
  • Don’t Assume - We embrace our unique perspectives, withhold judgment, and find beauty in the paths that brought us all to Bobbie. Our strength is celebrating each other and our collective voice.

At Bobbie, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive company. We seek to create a culture where everyone can belong because we believe that people do their best work when they can show up every day as their authentic selves. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives.

Bobbie is an equal opportunity employer. We do not make hiring or employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or genetic information, in compliance with applicable federal, state and local law.
