We are looking to hire a Senior Account Manager to join our Sales team in North America on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This role will focus on managing and growing an existing portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring strong client engagement, successful renewals, and continued adoption of WGSN’s services while the current account lead is on leave.
Salary range - $85,000 - $90,000This role is office based out of our NY or LA office.

Role Overview
In this role, you will embed yourself within customer teams, acting as a trusted partner to help them grow their business and maximize the value they receive from WGSN.
As a Senior Account Manager covering maternity leave, you will take ownership of an established portfolio of key accounts in North America. Your primary focus will be managing renewals, maintaining strong client relationships, identifying growth opportunities within accounts, and ensuring continuity of service and partnership while the existing account lead is on leave.
Using a consultative sales approach, you will develop tailored strategies to support client needs, drive adoption of WGSN’s products and services, and contribute to the team’s revenue goals.

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive environment where team members work closely together to ensure strong client relationships and shared success. As maternity leave cover, you will step into an established portfolio with support from the wider team to ensure a smooth transition and continued client success.
Key Accountabilities
- Own the Sales Cycle: Manage contract renewals and identify growth opportunities within your assigned accounts. Lead the full sales cycle including qualification, presentations, contract negotiations, legal and procurement coordination, Salesforce pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Consistently Hit & Exceed Targets: Work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment by consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs and contributing to overall revenue goals.
- Grow & Nurture Client Relationships: Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, strengthening client relationships, securing renewals, and identifying opportunities to expand WGSN services.
- Deliver High-Impact Presentations: Represent WGSN by presenting our value proposition to clients across key industries including Fashion, Beauty, Food & Drink, Interiors, Sports & Outdoors, and Consumer Tech.
- Drive Strategic Partnerships for Revenue Growth: Take a consultative approach to understand client needs, identify growth opportunities, and position WGSN as a trusted partner delivering measurable value.
- This role requires regular in-office days (approx. 3 per week)
Skills, Experience & Qualification Required
- Proven Sales Expertise: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales or account management within a B2B environment, selling to senior decision makers and negotiating contracts. Experience working with Fortune 500 companies is highly desirable.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales targets, ideally within subscription-based products or services.
- Client Relationship Building: Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior executives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and driving account growth.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate and sell services through proposals, presentations, phone calls and case studies. Strong presentation and negotiation skills are essential.
- Salesforce CRM Experience: Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms) to manage pipelines, track opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Results-Oriented: Ability to thrive in a KPI-driven, fast-paced environment while managing multiple accounts and priorities.
