Vestwell 2025 Summer Internship Program
Vestwell’s mission is to build a unified workplace savings platform to deliver the elevated experience that every employee deserves while closing the savings gap.
Our Business teams are each hiring an intern to participate in an 10-week intensive summer internship program from June 2 - August 8, 2025. The goal of Vestwell’s internship program is to provide the insights, tools, and training to empower participants to identify and advocate for what they view as the greatest opportunities for our teams to fulfill the company’s mission.
As an intern at Vestwell, you will have the opportunity to learn about the company and all aspects of our industry and business across various departments. You will work closely with stakeholders across our extremely collaborative, cross-functional teams to conduct research, capture data, and attend meetings where you will be asked to participate in projects that will help prepare you to tackle business challenges here and in your future career.
To help set you up for success and ensure opportunities for continuous growth, you will have an assigned manager and dedicated mentor to help guide you through your internship with regularly scheduled check-ins and feedback sessions.
Business Operations

The Business Operations team’s main focus is to help produce strategic and effective operational decisions. The team tests and provides hypothesis and project ideas that the COO has to optimize the ways teams work today. Longer term, the Business Operations team evaluates how our operational teams onboard and service plans.
What will you be doing?:
- Collaborate with the Business Operations team on current projects that impact the operational efficiencies of Vestwell.
- Manage a relevant Business Operations project and provide insights, takeaways, and recommendations on how to improve the project during a post-mortem.
- Track and assess the impact of your direct contribution to the Business Operations team.
- Contribute to ad-hoc "sprint" projects and longer form operational analysis, research, and hypothesis validation.
Requirements to participate in Vestwell’s Summer Internship Program:
Preferred Background:
- Majoring in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Economics
- Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite (Excel and Powerpoint)
- Basic understanding of financial statements
- Intellectually curious
The Necessities:
- A final-year student or recent graduate (including boot camps and or other related programs)
- Based in New York City and can report to Vestwell’s NYC HQ, in a hybrid capacity
- Available for the entire 10 week program: June 2 - August 8, 2025
- Eager to learn and work with various departments in the company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite and or Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask
- Cope well under pressure

OUR PROCESS
It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 - 2 conversations about Vestwell, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but the usual next steps are a skill or experience screen (e.g. a coding interview for an Engineer, a portfolio review for a Designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in-person interview panel after that if the screens go well. Before making an offer, our interview process concludes with a references check stage for your recruiter to meet with a current or former supervisor and peer. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.
