the job:

as an account coordinator at amika, you'll serve as the operational backbone of the international retail team, supporting multiple markets and channels through project management, new product launch execution, sales reporting, and cross-functional coordination. this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and takes pride in delivering flawless execution.

salary: $25 p/h

location: NY (must be based in + have the right to work in the US)



what you'll do:


sales reporting

  • track weekly and monthly sales and npd performance across all retail partners, ensuring reporting is accurate, reliable, and actionables.


marketing + sampling

  • support the management of account-specific marketing calendars and jbps, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time and calendars are continuously updated.
  • coordinate retailer creative asset requests, ensuring assets are delivered accurately and on time.
  • partner with the account manager to develop sampling and gwp plans; own the process from submission (internal + external) through item setup, ordering, and delivery.
  • submit all foc sample requests to sales ops and track deliveries to completion.
  • compile monthly account coverage and assets into a deck for internal sharing.

account support

  • own the end-to-end product setup process for new skus (and sku updates), completing and submitting new line forms and supporting assets accurately and on time while maintaining the nlf and npd trackers.
  • conduct regular site audits across e-commerce assortments to confirm all information and assets are current, communicating updates to accounts where necessary.
  • perform bi-weekly oos checks and communicate with retailers to trigger replenishment orders.
  • manage administrative tasks including scheduling, meeting prep and recaps, onboarding support, and documentation to streamline account manager workflows.
  • manage day-to-day account operations, serving as the primary coordinator for retailer requests, internal follow-ups, and cross-functional execution.
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, compliance, planning, operations, and sales ops to ensure seamless execution across all account initiatives.


must haves:

  • exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple launches and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • highly proactive, taking ownership of projects from initiation through execution.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify business opportunities, and recommend solutions.
  • proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, creative, supply chain, planning, and operations.
  • strong passion for the beauty industry and interest in global sales
  • highly organized and detailed-oriented, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, constantly evolving environments
  • collaborative team player who also performs well independently
  • strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and with external partners
  • advanced proficiency in microsoft excel and powerpoint, with experience using project management tools (asana). experience with retailer portals is preferred.
