Overview
You'll be joining a small team and working directly with our Managing Partners, portfolio companies, and investors. These include several of the biggest crypto companies and token projects, world-renowned PE and VC investors, and founders of large public tech and finance companies.

You should be insanely passionate about crypto, comfortable with flexible and entrepreneurial work environments, and looking to rapidly accelerate your career in crypto and investing.

Functional Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and field new investment opportunities
  • Conduct and discuss relevant industry, business, and financial analysis, including valuation, modeling, deal structuring and due diligence support
  • Provide high-touch support to portfolio companies post-investment
  • Opportunity for research, publishing, and media

Requirements
  • Experience in VC and/or high-growth tech startups
  • Experience in crypto (can be investing or in an operator role; founder, engineering, data science, or business development preferred for the latter)
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for slicing and dicing data, and an ability to think critically about how things work on the ground
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, pattern recognition, and project management skills, with equally exceptional work ethic
  • Self-accountability and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to interact across cultures and businesses
  • Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain
  • Strong ethical code
  • Being based in NYC and able to work in-office is strongly preferred, though we may also consider candidates based in San Francisco

Preferred
  • Background in computer science/programming
  • High (but open-minded and flexible) conviction around your own ideas
  • Familiarity with relevant crypto tools and forums (e.g., know your way around Crypto Twitter, Dune Analytics, navigating contracts on Etherscan)
  • Intrinsically motivated to learn about crypto data
  • Strong network within crypto

Note: The general salary range for this role is $180k-250k, although we will pay commensurate to experience.
