The ideal candidate combines strong business process acumen with hands-on familiarity with ERP, CPQ, and CRM platforms, and is equally comfortable facilitating executive discussions and coaching analysts and testers on day-to-day delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Architecture & Process Design

  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT leadership to document current-state and future-state business processes, capability maps, and value streams.
  • Translate business strategy and operational needs into system and process requirements that span ERP, CPQ, CRM, and adjacent applications.
  • Identify process gaps, redundancies, and automation opportunities, and recommend solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance) on how system capabilities can support business objectives.
  • Maintain and evolve process and solution documentation, including workflow diagrams, requirements repositories, and architecture artifacts.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Analysis team, setting standards for requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead the IT QA team, establishing test strategy, test case coverage, and release readiness criteria across projects and enhancements.
  • Coordinate prioritization and resource allocation across business analysis and QA workstreams to support the enterprise project portfolio.
  • Establish and monitor team KPIs (e.g., requirements quality, defect leakage, test cycle time) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration between business analysts, QA engineers, developers, and solution architects throughout the project lifecycle.

Systems & Solution Expertise

  • Apply working knowledge of Infor Visual ERP to guide requirements, configuration decisions, and process improvements across manufacturing and finance workflows.
  • Apply working knowledge of Tacton CPQ to support configure-to-order and quoting process design and enhancements.
  • Apply working knowledge of Salesforce CRM to align sales, quoting, and customer data processes with downstream ERP and CPQ systems.
  • Support integration and data-flow discussions across the application landscape (e.g., MuleSoft, Microsoft Fabric) in partnership with the Enterprise Architecture and Integrations teams.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with master data governance standards and enterprise architecture principles.

Qualifications, Education And / or Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, business architecture, or solution architecture roles, including experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Infor Visual preferred), CPQ platforms (Tacton preferred), and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong facilitation, requirements-gathering, and process-mapping skills (e.g., BPMN, value stream mapping).
  • Solid understanding of software QA practices, including test planning, test case design, and defect management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both executive stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred

  • Experience in an engineer-to-order or configure-to-order manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) or formal business architecture certification (e.g., CBAP, CBA).
  • Familiarity with integration platforms (MuleSoft) and analytics/data platforms (Microsoft Fabric).
