This part-time role offers valuable, real-world experience in hardware management, deployment, and IT operations. PC Builds & Deployment: Assemble, configure, and prepare desktop and laptop hardware for deployment to end-users.
PC Decommissioning: Securely retire older hardware, ensuring proper data wiping and component recycling/disposal according to company policy.
Inventory Control: Track incoming and outgoing hardware, maintain accurate asset logs, and assist in managing physical tech stock.
Organization & Maintenance: Keep the IT department, cable storage, and spare parts inventory organized, clean, and easily accessible.
Software & Firmware Updates: Perform routine maintenance and software/firmware updates on various office products, including network copiers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
Requirements

Hardware Familiarity: Strong foundational knowledge of PC components (CPUs, RAM, storage, motherboards) and how to assemble/disassemble them.
Detail-Oriented: A knack for organization—you hate messy cable drawers and love accurate spreadsheets.
