Key Responsibilities

  • SaaS Software Management

    • Oversee our 25+ and growing list of SaaS applications.

    • Optimize licensing, cost tracking, integration, and governance.

    • Implement external sharing and data access controls.

  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)

    • Implement and manage MDM solutions (e.g., JumpCloud).

    • Oversee device vending and hardware asset management

    • Enforce device security, configurations, and refresh lifecycle policies.

  • Identity Management & Single Sign-On (SSO)

    • Design and implement enterprise-wide SSO solutions, integrating with core SaaS applications and custom tools.

    • Define and manage user and group provisioning workflows, role-based access controls, and group policies.

    • Automate user lifecycle management across directories, ensuring consistency and security for both internal and external collaborators.

  • Access Control & Security

    • Enforce MFA and review access controls to mitigate risks (e.g., phishing).

    • Develop incident response procedures and oversee security monitoring (Sumo Logic or equivalent).

  • Onboarding & Offboarding

    • Design and automate workflows for efficient employee lifecycle management.

    • Ensure secure provisioning, access management, and device reclamation.

  • Networking & VPN

    • Manage VPN solutions (e.g., Tailscale) and support office network buildouts.

    • Collaborate with DevOps to support network configurations and firewall management.

  • Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

    • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for critical IT systems.

    • Conduct regular DR drills and tabletop exercises to ensure readiness.

  • IT Training & Documentation

    • Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

    • Provide training sessions and onboarding materials for employees on IT policies and tools.

  • Software Asset Management & Compliance

    • Track software assets, manage license compliance, and conduct periodic audits.

    • Liaise with legal and finance to manage licensing agreements and renewals.

  • Helpdesk & Service Metrics

    • Establish a dedicated IT support Slack channel as our primary ticketing system.

    • Define and track SLA response and resolution targets (e.g., initial response within 30 minutes, resolution within 4 hours).

    • Analyze support metrics regularly to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.

    • Provide in-office IT support, including AV setup, conference room technology, printing, and Wi-Fi.

  • Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Partner with external IT consultants and internal teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives.

  • Strategic Planning & Growth

    • Develop a 12–24 month IT roadmap to support scaling from 100 to 300+ employees.

    • Evaluate emerging technologies and drive automation to prevent technical debt.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Finance.

What We Require

  • 5+ years of experience in IT leadership or senior systems administration, with at least 3 years managing IT operations in high-growth startup environments.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling IT infrastructure, policies, and support models.

Required Certifications**
