What we do:

The IT Services Analyst delivers the core services that keep The Trade Desk running: identity lifecycle and access management, IT procurement, asset and inventory management, software license lifecycle, and compliance and audit support. This is a cross-trained role on a unified team. Analysts work across functions rather than in a single lane, take ownership of ITSM process improvements across the service desk, incident, request, access, and change management, and handle Level 2 escalations.

What you'll do:

  • Own identity lifecycle operations, including onboarding and offboarding, provisioning, access requests, entitlement reviews, and change management across all applications.
  • Resolve service requests and access issues, including complex and escalated tickets, within established service levels.
  • Manage hardware and software procurement, eProcurement and purchase orders, license fulfillment, and global inventory, including 3PL and direct vendor channels.
  • Administer IT asset management, hardware standards, device testing, and depot stock oversight for global operations.
  • Manage software license allocation, renewals, and true-ups for core IT applications to maintain license compliance and control spend.
  • Support vendor intake, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain SOX, GDPR, and SOC 2 controls, including entitlement matrix ownership, evidence collection, and audit response.
  • Drive ITSM process improvements across service desk, incident, hardware request, access, and change management workflows in line with ITIL practice.
  • Build and improve automations, ticket transitions, dashboards, and self-service solutions that increase transparency and reduce manual effort.
  • Participate in Level 2 escalations.
  • Contribute to team projects and platform initiatives such as ITSM maturity, ITAM and IAM platform implementations, and workflow modernization.
  • Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent practical experience and 3+ years of experience in an IT services or IT support role.
  • Working knowledge of identity and access management, IT procurement, IT asset management, and software license management.
  • Experience with ITSM and ticketing platforms, ERP and procurement systems, and ITAM or IAM tooling.
  • Practical understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, request, problem, access, change, and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and control frameworks, including SOX, GDPR, and SOC 2.
  • Experience supporting a multi-location, global environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience working within the ITIL framework in a SOX regulated environment is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to balance operational support responsibilities with strategic project work.
  • Ability to work independently, share knowledge actively, and contribute in a cross-trained team.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and company values.
  • Regular Hours: Must be regularly available and willing to work at least 8 hours per day, five days per week, or such other hours per day or hours per week as we determine are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
  • After Hours, Weekends, and Holidays: Must be available and willing to work after hours, weekends, and holidays as we determine are necessary or desirable to meet critical business needs.
  • Will be required to carry a company-funded smartphone and is expected to respond to urgent calls in a timely manner.
