Role Overview 

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for day-to-day support to end users in NJ office with issues related to windows/mac desktop/laptop, Internet, VPN, wireless setup, printer, copier, phone setup, audio-video system, Antivirus, office 365, Adobe CC, pdf, related issues. Position requires providing support to top management such as CEO, CFO, VPs, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide C-Level support for AV setup, email issues, mobile device setup, etc.
  • Prepare windows Desktop/Laptops using imaging and Mac Desktop/Laptops as per standard procedure.
  • Troubleshoot and support windows and Mac related day-to-day end users issues.
  • Troubleshoot and provide remote support to WFH users for VPN/MS Teams/Zoom and related issues.
  • Troubleshoot any wireless connectivity issues for employees and guests.
  • Install office 365/Adobe creative cloud/any custom software as per standard procedure.
  • Install Cisco VoIP phones in the offices and configure cell phones. Basic Telephone knowledge is plus.
  • Troubleshoot issues on printers (Hp, Brother, Ricoh, Epson, Canon) and open up a service ticket with vendor when needed.
  • Help Retail team and provide remote support to retail stores for desktop/email/printing issues.
  • Monitor Crowdstrike portal and troubleshoot any virus issues and do the routine cleanup to maintain client machines. Basic Network knowledge is plus.
  • Perform employee moves within the office based on requests from HR dept.
  • Provide support to various branch offices, satellite offices, retail stores, etc. 
  • Liaise with other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Be available for after-hours support and on-call support on a rotating schedule.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of proven hands-on desktop support experience and technician experience
  • Basic understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, wireless, audio-video system
  • Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills to handle multiple requests at the same time
  • Highly self-motivated, responsible, able to work effectively under stress and deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with IT team members and end users
  • Highly professional and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical audience, as well as top management of the company
  • Position would require lifting PCs and Mac machines when moving users to different locations in the office.

This an onsite role, with 5 days in our NYC office 


PAY RATE: $75,000/yr-$95,000/yr
