  • Oversee and improve office network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi and LAN performance and reliability.
  • Assist with firewall access and connectivity issues
  • Escalate complex issues as needed

Operational Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of reliable IT operations for the India office, with accountability for uptime, user experience, and service quality
  • Proactively monitor and improve identity and authentication systems, ensuring high reliability and rapid resolution of access-related issues
  • Manage and update tickets in the IT service management system
  • Maintain assets inventory, tracking, and documentation.
  • Ensure systems meet patching and security standards
  • Manage local IT vendor relationships, including hardware procurement, warranty replacements (e.g., Apple, Dell, Lenovo), and managing local ISPs.
  • Act as the primary liaison for third-party contractors (e.g., cabling technicians, printer maintenance, AV specialists) ensuring work meets corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams on support and projects
  • Conduct IT orientations for new hires, ensuring a seamless Day 1 experience and educating users on IT security best practices and company policies

Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT support or systems roles
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Windows 11 and macOS (configuration, management, troubleshooting)
    • User identity and access management concepts
    • Device management and endpoint deployment tools
    • Networking hardware and software
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • Working knowledge of scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Basic understanding of Linux systems
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
  • Experience with hardware and end-user support.
  • Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, switches, and wireless environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Willing to work or travel in our NYC office when upon opening

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-office or global environment
  • Familiarity with MFA, SSO, and access control best practices
  • Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ticketing systems)
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA, Cisco etc.)

Benefits
  • Competitive salary, plus bonus based on individual and company performance
  • Collaborative, casual, and friendly work environment while solving the hardest problems in the financial markets
  • PPO Health, dental and vision insurance premiums fully covered for you and your dependents

Applications are open for both Stamford and New York City offices, the latter with a planned opening in September 2026.

The base salary range is $120,000 - $150,000 depending on the candidate’s educational and professional background. Base salary is one component of Trexquant’s total compensation, which may also include a discretionary, performance-based bonus. This position is classified as overtime-exempt.
