Junior Client Onboarding & Support Specialist – Restricted Accounts

Company Overview: Brightfin is an enterprise SaaS software company that provides complete visibility and control over IT spend. With a suite of solutions that cover IT Financial Management (ITFM), Telecom Expense Management (TEM), Managed Mobility Services (MMS), FInOps, Cloud, and AI spend, Brightfin brings "Total Spend Intelligence" to CIOs, CFOs, IT, Finance, and procurement teams so they can better forecast, manage, optimize costs, and redirect wasteful spend to strategic priorities. Brightfin was the first ServiceNow partner to provide a natively accessible cost optimization application built into the ServiceNow platform

Job Summary:

This role provides client support from kickoff through steady-state operations: the specialist helps implement a new client (carrier data, configuration, UAT, go-live readiness), then continues for day-to-day operational contact for that client after go-live (invoice loading, audits, MACDs, reporting, savings, and incident follow-through). Working across both phases means the person who learns the client's carriers, contracts and rules during onboarding is the same person who supports them afterward, so nothing is lost at handoff.

Data residency requirements apply to nearly all restricted accounts, and personnel must be U.S. citizens located in the United States. Specific clients may layer on additional criteria as well, which can include specific security clearances or client-specific access controls, background checks, security screening, or testing.

Responsibilities include invoice loading, procurement, and expense management. The specialist will manage multiple, related workstreams simultaneously, complete work on time, and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. This role requires strong self-directed time management, prioritizing tasks across a full client portfolio without close supervision. The specialist must complete required background screening and adhere to strict data security practices in accordance with specific client policies.

Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Support the client management team in handling requests and inquiries from assigned accounts.
  • Load invoice and inventory data to operational systems according to client specifications.
  • Process system-triggered invoice audits and data reconciliation tasks for client invoices.
  • Analyze billing models, contracts, and usage (billed and unbilled) to develop savings proposals and optimize services.
  • Implement approved carrier changes, known as Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACDs).
  • Generate system-based allocation and accrual reports as required by clients.
  • Review contracts for adherence and manage resulting disputes.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and internal stakeholders on platform functionality, data quality, and open issues.
  • Escalate and track incidents with Engineering teams through to resolution.
  • Fulfill mobile service orders and procurement requests for assigned accounts, as needed.

Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge and experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, Agile methodologies is highly valued.
  • ServiceNow experience a plus
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and logic functions (e.g., SUMIF, COUNTIF); familiarity with Power Query is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data, own reporting deliverables, and identify errors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be located in the United States.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Depending on assigned account, may also be required to obtain a specific security clearance or complete additional client-specific access controls, background checks, or screening.

Additional Requirements: Background screening; willingness to complete client-specific certifications and testing as assigned. Not all certification requirements are known at the time of hire; successfully completing them is an important element of continued employment in this role.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • This is a temporary non-exempt position for 3-6 months. Subject to review or extension.
  • US Paid holidays, Sick time accrual
  • 401K with employer match
  • Compensation Range: $21 - $24 per hour
