Junior Fixed Assets Accountant

• Processing of Journal entries related to fixed assets transactions 

• Reconciliation of fixed assets balance sheet accounts

• Monitoring, analysis and clear Fixed Assets Aging

• Preparing audit schedules related to FA and assist the auditors in their inquiries

• Creating and monitoring a system of controls, procedures and forms for the recordation of fixed assets

• Recording fixed assets acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system

• Calculating depreciation for fixed assets

• Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation

• Investigating the potential obsolescence of fixed assets

• Conduct analyses related to fixed assets requested by management

• Preparing Accounting Operating Review Schedules

• Ensuring documentation of all processes is in place

• Highlighting potential issues to management team's attention

• Other ad hoc tasks as determined by the GL Manager/Team Lead

• Masters Degree in Economy / Finance/Accounting

• Excellent English/ language verbal and written communication skills required. Other languages an advantage.

• Strong analytical/problem solving, and influencing skills required.

• Able to work under pressure and deal with various organizations/ cultures

• PC Skills are required- Windows NT, Word, Excel

• Oracle Financial Systems experience a distinct advantage

• Experience in quality or cycle time improvement efforts is a plus
