Responsibilities

  • Author research reports, market forecasts, competitive assessments, and articles within one or more areas of personal expertise.
  • Help develop and maintain ABI Research's digital and compute infrastructure research spanning 5G/6G, telco AI, and hardware and software technologies targeting both core and access networks, providing guidance and input based on client needs and industry trends.
  • Maintain a high industry profile, promoting ABI Research’s information services through regular contact with key industry players, participation in industry events, authoring articles, delivering presentations, and interacting with the press.
  • Support sales and business development activities by preparing customer-specific analysis, participating in key meetings (including webinars) with clients, prospects, and partners, as well as attending conferences and industry events.
  • Supporting other analysts where required and providing application, market, and product expertise to other groups within the organization.

 

Skills

The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and a fast learner with a passion for innovation and market transformation. 
  • Career-oriented with a strong work ethic, a “can-do attitude”, and a desire to make a difference. 
  • Willingness to develop an in-depth knowledge of the digital and compute transformation, including strong familiarity with major players, competitive dynamics, technology & business issues, and market trends.
  • Customer-centric, open-minded approach to solving business and analytical problems.
  • Experience in product management, new product development, product marketing, market research, or industry analysis is highly preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in manipulating Excel databases.
  • Industry/market analysis experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

 

Location

ABI Research is fully remote in the U.S., with physical offices in the U.K. and Singapore. Analysts may be fully remote, report to an office, or operate in a hybrid role based on skills and experience.
