Reporting to the Director of Sales, Premium Targets, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to meet revenue targets and strategic objectives. The Key Account Manager will primarily be responsible for selling PVD electronic materials to a select list of established key accounts. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual with a strong technical understanding of semiconductor materials and processes, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successful sales performance.
You will have the opportunity to:
Develop and execute on key account plans and commercial goals to drive new business and expand market share within the given customer list, and prospective new customers across the semiconductor industry
Identify and prioritize strategic New Business Opportunities at existing and prospective accounts to build a robust pipeline of sales opportunities
Conduct in-depth technical discussions with customers to understand their requirements, provide solutions, and position our electronic materials effectively
Develop accurate sales forecasts and manage sales activities in CRM system, providing regular updates to sales management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at customer organizations, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate with internal teams, including factories, product management, and technical support, to deliver comprehensive solutions and support customer needs
Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer challenges, develop value propositions, and negotiate contracts to win new business and renew existing contracts
Prepare and deliver sales presentations tailored to the specific needs of each customer
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth
Lead key account planning initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies to maximize customer value and satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical (e.g. Engineering) or Business is strongly preferred
Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in the semiconductor industry, selling electronic materials or related products/services
Experience working with international semiconductor customers, especially the APAC region, is strongly preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong technical understanding of semiconductor materials, processes, and applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Ability to travel extensively to customer sites (estimated 50-75% travel), including occasional international travel
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for driving business success
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
