About the role:

We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager (AI) to join our Global Talent Development team, based in New York (hybrid). In this role, you will design, execute, and scale Forter’s AI learning strategy with a special focus on Go-To-Market (GTM) and G&A teams in New York. You will translate business needs into role-based curricula, own our AI certification program, and partner closely with the AI Committee and GTM leaders to drive measurable behavior change and performance impact across the company.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with GTM, G&A, and R&D leaders to conduct deep-dive needs assessments that identify AI skill gaps, use cases, and workflow friction points across functions.
  • Design and maintain a phased, company-wide AI learning roadmap that spans foundational literacy, role-based enablement (e.g., GTM vs. R&D vs. G&A), and advanced pathways.
  • Partner with Legal and Security to ensure AI adoption follows safe, compliant practices
  • Translate job and role requirements into clear learning objectives and curricula; curate and create multi-format content (live sessions, e-learning, playbooks, labs, guides) in partnership with internal SMEs and external vendors.
  • Own the AI learning architecture in our LMS (HiBob LMS or similar): define pathways, manage enrollments, ensure clean data tracking, dashboards, and recurring reporting to business and AI stakeholders.
  • Embed AI education into company-wide onboarding and ongoing enablement, ensuring new hires and existing employees have clear, role-relevant AI expectations and resources from day one.
  • Partner with AI Champions Network across GTM, G&A, and R&D to localize use cases, drive adoption, and create feedback loops from the field back into program design.
  • Manage learning vendors: evaluate and select partners, negotiate scopes, coordinate delivery, and integrate external offerings with Forter’s internal programs and tools.
  • Define and track success metrics (e.g., adoption and certification rates, usage of AI in key workflows, learner satisfaction, productivity indicators), using data to iterate and improve programs over time.
  • Operate as a highly independent project lead - scoping, planning, executing, and closing projects A–Z with clear milestones, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch measurement.

What you’ll need:

  • Approximately 5 - 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, enablement, or talent development in tech/SaaS, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end programs
  • Proven experience designing and implementing learning initiatives for commercial / GTM and/or G&A audiences (e.g., Sales, CS, Marketing, Finance, Ops), not only for technical/R&D teams.
  • Strong operational execution and project management skills-comfortable defining “done,” managing timelines and stakeholders, and handling multiple initiatives in a changing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with an LMS/LXP and learning analytics (HiBob LMS is a plus) and the ability to translate data into decisions and narratives for leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a thought partner to visionary leaders
  • Ability to influence without authority across senior stakeholders
  • Exposure to AI tools and concepts-such as Claude, Gemini, Notebook or similar; curiosity and comfort experimenting with new AI capabilities and incorporating them into learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts in practical, role-relevant terms to both technical and non-technical audiences and to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external learning vendors or partners and integrating them into a coherent learning ecosystem.
  •  High adaptability, resilience, and a growth mindset-comfortable operating amid rapid AI change and shifting business priorities.
