We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. We're looking to build a laboratory operations team where people are passionate about supporting a state-of-the-art research laboratory.
What you’ll do:
● Work in a cutting-edge research laboratory supporting daily operations ● Open deliveries, label supplies/reagents and store them accordingly
● Assist with inventory tracking and organization
● Receive and enter biorepository specimen manifests into our central database ● Assist with documentation of operational tasks and other quality steps throughout the life cycle of biorepository biospecimens.
● Assist with equipment maintenance and documentation
● Send packages to Biological Modeling lab customers/collaborators
● Organize and deliver samples from the Biological Modeling lab to the NGS lab for sequencing
● Coordinate with the Pathology lab sample processing, storage, and quality reviews ● Make sure lab complies with safety requirements and stores and disposes of hazardous and biohazardous materials properly
● Maintain lab cleanliness and tidiness
Qualifications:
● Associate's or bachelor’s degree required
● Excellent communication skills
● Impeccable attention to detail
● Thrives in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to work well with others
CHI: $50,000-$65,000 USD
The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
