The Lead Applications/Systems Sales Engineer for Andean and Caribbean region is responsible for both direct sales to customers in the assigned region, but also direct support of regional sales team members as necessary to drive overall HCI (Connected Industrials) sales success.
The Sales lead will be part of a matrix organization with support and leadership from the Honeywell Connected Industrial LATAM Sales team, while remaining closely connected to the CSAR (Central and South American) Regional Business organization

Responsibilities
  • Direct Sales of Industrial software solutions such as Advanced Process Control, Loop Monitoring, Alarm Management, System Design and OTS, APM, Planning and Scheduling and History / Data Collection on the assigned region and/or assigned accounts, to deliver business results, including order bookings, growth of sales revenue, and margin improvements.
  • Regular prospecting within existing and prospective customers in the assigned territory/customers, measured via qualified orders pipeline.
  • Build and execute account/territory plans incorporating software sales strategies to deliver accurate business forecasts
  • Work with different Sales Teams in locations / sites / accounts that may exist in the assigned territory
  • Develop, maintain, and share knowledge of the industries we serve and current trends in the specific territory or region.
  • Develop and maintain expert sales and technical knowledge for the industrial software solutions that are part of the portfolio to be sold
  • Continuous feedback of market intelligence to Regional Business Leaders and Product Management
  • Exhibit proactive ability and expertise in setting customer discussions via sales and other partner teams, including maintaining an effective Sales behavior Index (SBI)
  • Engage in senior-level customer meetings to discuss customers’ business opportunities and explore how industrial software applications can address and resolve these issues.
  • Prepare and provide business reviews to senior management team regarding progress, activities and key metrics
Qualifications

What You Need

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of relevant direct sales experience in the OT business proposing industrial software solutions.
  • Domain expertise in vertical markets such as O&G (Upstream, Midstream and downstream), Chemical Petrochemical, Mining and Pupl and Paper
  • Candidate will be required to share some examples of selling in these customers 
  • ARR / SaaS skills selling.
