Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Markets Chief Finance Officer (CIB Markets CFO) team. The Markets CFO team provides strategic advisory, supported by data and analysis, to the Markets Division Leadership that will drive growth, create efficiency, and define strategy. More specifically, this Lead Analyst will provide support to the Equities business in the Markets division reporting to the Equities CFO.
In this role, you will:
  • Perform in-depth financial reporting/analysis
  • Ensure proper financials preparation for operating reviews/reports, financial ownership in business cases and ad-hoc analyses
  • Participate in functions related to financial forecasting, financial research and reporting
  • Engage directly with leaders across all aspects of the business including but not limited to revenue, balance sheet, capital, headcount and expenses
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity with appropriate skepticism to review/ challenge/enhance/transform current processes that can benefit from improvements; take ownership to push things forward and make progress
    Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
    • Visual/verbal data trend presentation preparation for management reporting
    • Knowledge/understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
    • Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
    • Knowledge of Wells Fargo's balance sheet/product offerings
    • Experience with forecasting tools Essbase/Dodeca
    • Experience with disciplines such as accounting, group controllers, corporate treasury, regulatory capital, financial planning and analysis and/or product control
    • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
    • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, AI tools
    Pay Range
    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
    $143,000.00 - $224,000.00
